In the wake of the powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake that shook General Santos City and parts of Mindanao on June 8, the necessity of disaster readiness has never been clearer. Yesterday, June 11, 2026, our campus came together for an intensive Earthquake Drill.

Following the successful club elections across campus, the SSLG led by our own SSLG President officially gathered all newly elected Club Presidents, representatives, and our ever-reliable Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for our very first joint leadership meeting. ✨💙

Every single organization at Tejero National High School was at the table. Today’s meeting was just the first step in aligning our goals, collaborating on upcoming projects, and ensuring this school year is filled with impactful student-led programs. 💫

In the wake of the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit General Santos City yesterday at 7:37 AM, the ᴅɪᴠɪꜱɪᴏɴ ꜰᴇᴅᴇʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴏꜰ ꜱᴜᴘʀᴇᴍᴇ ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅᴀʀʏ ʟᴇᴀʀɴᴇʀꜱ ɢᴏᴠᴇʀɴᴍᴇɴᴛ (DFSSLG) is standing in solidarity with ᴄᴇʙᴜ ɴᴏʀᴍᴀʟ ᴜɴɪᴠᴇʀꜱɪᴛʏ (CNU). The powerful quake has severely damaged infrastructure and disrupted the lives of 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, and 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

To take swift action, student leaders and councils nationwide are uniting to launch this immediate donation drive. In direct partnership with the MSU–General Santos SSC, our collective goal is to gather financial assistance for the hardest-hit communities.
