Today, November 2nd, 2025, we gather to remember the souls who have gone before usโ€” our loved ones whose presence lingers in prayer, in memory, in love that time cannot fade. ๐Ÿ’ซ

Let us always remember them through prayer, as we commemorate All Souls' Day. May our prayers light their way to eternal peace, and may their lives remind us to cherish every fleeting moment we are given. ๐Ÿค

Saints Day isn't just about praying to saints, but about reminding ourselves that saints were just like us, sinful, hopeful, faithful, and human. But despite everything they have been through, their faith and hope for God never faltered, for they believed that God would hear their prayers and save them from hardships and sin.

Each saint has their own story and life that was far from perfect. Yet, through persistent prayer and steadfast faith, they believed that God would hear their cries and bless them with the grace to be with Him in heavenโ€”where love, happiness, and everlasting life abound in an unbreakable bond with God.

Let us always remember their stories and the hardships they faced, and let us look to them as role models who inspire us to become better and kinder individuals. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Once, it was Samhainโ€”the night when the veil between the living and the dead grew thin, and fires burned to keep the wandering souls at bay. Then, centuries had woven their way through it: Roman harvests, Christian vigils, whispers of autumn and afterlife. Now, we wear masks not to hide from spirits, but to remember themโ€”through laughter, stories, and a flicker of candlelight in a hollowed gourd.

Halloween enduresโ€”not as fear, but as folklore; not as darkness, but as the art of remembering. โœ’๏ธ

Today, on October 3rd 2025, as the world celebrates World Teachers' Day, we, the Young Writers' Society, would like to greet our Club Adviser, Miss Alyanna Mae Saga with our deepest gratitude. On your special day, we would like to celebrate not just a teacher, but a mentor who hones our capabilities. Youโ€™ve taught us that words hold weight, even when they come out messy or unsure. Youโ€™ve taught us that every story has the power to move someone else. More than correcting our lines, you encouraged us to find the heart behind them.

Undoubtedly, if this club was a book, you'd be its spine, as you are the foundation of this very club. Youโ€™ve shown us that writing is not simply about filling pages, but about courage โ€” the courage to express, to share, and to believe that our words matter.

We, your Club Officers of A.Y 2025-2026, want you to hear our voices;

President Aki: Happy Teachersโ€™ Day! Our gorgeous Glinda๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’– Due to unfortunate events, we werenโ€™t able to fully express our love for you yet we will do our very best to at least show you how much you mean to us. Thank you for being our guiding lightโ€”shining bright upon us. You have taught us to be joyful, kind, loving, caring, and many more! We greatly appreciate your patience, dedication, and the wisdom you share with us every bonding. You inspire us not only to learn or dream, but to soar without any limits holding us back. If we were to write a book, it would be all about the woman you are. We love you, Ms. Saga! Thank you for making writing feel like home. Yours Truly, Pres;)

Vice President Dorothy: Happy Teachers' Day to our very own Glinda ๐Ÿ’•Despite the unfortunate events, we still wanted to show your love for you, as you've went above and beyond for our club. Without you, our club wouldn't be the club it is today. Your patience and passion made me realize that writing is more than a hobby โ€” itโ€™s a way of living. Because of you, Iโ€™m no longer afraid of the blank page. You have been more than an adviser to us โ€” you have been the person who never let us settle for less than what we could truly give. We love you very much, Miss Saga! Yours, VPres

The Young Writersโ€™ Society successfully had their first ๐‘ช๐’๐’–๐’ƒ ๐‘จ๐’„๐’’๐’–๐’‚๐’Š๐’๐’•๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’† ๐‘ท๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’š on July 24, 2025, with the Young Writersโ€™ Societyโ€™s President and Vice President spearheading its activities, with the support of their Club Adviser. Laughter and the creation of new bonds rose as the Young Writers played Charades, Connect the Sentence and a round of Debate.

Lively was the room of the young writers, as they played enriching games and created lifelong memories. May this club acquaintance be the stepping stone for more enriching experience with this yearโ€™s new batch of officers for this school year.

I honestly dreaded the club culmination every academic year, because it means letting go of the people Iโ€™ve grown a little fond of, and starting anew the next year. I couldnโ€™t bring myself to write my signing off, I didnโ€™t even give a proper goodbye. So this is it, my final goodbye to my family.

Starting the new academic year with doubts that people would even join the Writersโ€™ Society, I thought that I wasnโ€™t good enough for the club anymore, and was about to leave my safe placeโ€” my home of 2 yearsโ€” there was a sudden spark in my life when my best friend (at the time) was going to join the club. Being part of the Writersโ€™ Society Staff for two years (and counting), Iโ€™ve made friends, learned lessons, and created memories Iโ€™ll carry with me. From the original officers of S.Y. 2022โ€“2023, only two of us had remained. But what we built, and what continues to grow, is something I will always be proud of.

Though our numbers may have dwindled, the spirit of the Writers' Society never did. Each year brought in new faces, fresh ideas, and a different kind of energy that somehow fit perfectly with the pieces left behind. During my presidency, I will admit that despite my busy schedule with my numerous orgs, I always found time to write, as writing has been my solace, my love, and my safe place.

Even if the amount of posts has lessened, I am still glad that we got connected and made friends along the way simply because we are Writers and even two of the Young Writersโ€™ Society members got to join the school publication, such legacy passing down from one academic year to the next.

So, I say farewell, not with a heavy heart, but with knowing that the club has produced fine writers during its academic years. Continue to inspire others, with your endless creativity. :)

You tell me that I am the only one, yet your gaze drifts to her direction. Thereโ€™s no passion in your eyes as your hand touches mine, yet yearns for hers. And yet, even in that fleeting contact, I can feel the yearning that does not belong to me, the silent longing that pulls you toward her like the tide surrendering to the moon.

At night, as I lay in bed, the silence is deafening, punctuated only by the quiet sobs that escape me, my tears soaking into the pillow like ink bleeding into paperโ€” the tears that flow down my cheeks are reminiscent of yours as you dream of her. Iโ€™ll admit that I am selfishโ€” in a way that is near possessive, yet my heart aches for when I see you with her in my peripheral vision. Reality is cruel, shattering me each time I catch sight of you and her, lost in a world I will never be part of.

Whispers spread throughout the halls as they saw you and her, my head pounds with such rage and anguish that I forget my place in your lifeโ€” am I just a placement of the true love you so yearn for, a placeholder of temporary comfort until you can gather the courage to reach for your wildest dreams? Iโ€™m a fool for wishing that youโ€™d spend eternity with me, a hopeless dreamerโ€” for hoping that youโ€™d choose me over her.

But yet, in the end, no matter how much love is stored in that shallow space that is your heart, I will never cross your mind as she does.

๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š ๐€๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š

On a very swell afternoon, there sat two sisters. One older, wise, and all-knowing, the other only full of despair.

One speaks, โ€œSister, with the millions of people Iโ€™ve witnessed so talented, I could not help but fear that the stars will never be within my reach. If fate was so merciful to grant it, will I finally be able to succeed in my studies so that I could leave this wretched land? Although the time for it is distant, I clutch and grasp for the stars, as though tomorrow is not guaranteed. Passion and talent is littered across this beautiful world, yet how come it has not found its way to me? Oftentimes I worry my arms are too short to hold the stars or that my voice is not loud enough to speak my passion. Or worse, my passion is not enough to give results at par as those I look up to. I am but a child of the stars bound by human capability. My wings were torn before I could fly, I swear by that. I think I could have been something more beautiful. With only four limbs, two eyes, two ears, and one mouth, what could I even accomplish?โ€

Her older sister laughed and the younger one stared at her dumbfounded, as though she was offended. She shared a moment of vulnerability and the all-knowing sister laughed so easily.

However, before the younger one could retort to the older sister, the latter spoke next.
โ€œMy dear sister, you fail to remember that leaving this country is forsaking the soil from whence your flesh had risen, which is also the soil our ancestors had risen from as well and cultivated for our better. You forget, dear sister, that every part of you is made of crushed stardust, descended from the heavens; each one glinting a beautiful shine no other could emulate, and each light has an ambition you once held. Sister, you forget that your eyes twinkle with such passion. No matter how dark you believe it is, the light within you is somewhere in thereโ€” you just have to keep looking. You forget that your smile consists of pearls handpicked by Mother Nature who conceived you not so you could be successful in life through a corporate job, but only for the sake that you live life as it is. Sister, never worry that your arms are too short to hold the stars; they are not distant dreams. Look within you and you will realize that you are the stars themselves. From your eyes to your feet, every part is special.โ€

When people realize how they act,
Then itโ€™s like theyโ€™re gone they packed,

They donโ€™t see their positivity and worth,

They are still stuck in between a confusing world,

They who are man donโ€™t know what comes next,
But I really hope for โ€œtheyโ€ will be the best.

Donโ€™t adjust for me, donโ€™t act like you care.
You left too easily, like I was never there,
No second thoughts, no weight on your chest,
Just another promise laid to rest.

You swore youโ€™d stay, swore it was real,
But your words were like a script, nothing to feel.
Actions dressed up in a bittersweet disguise,
You smiled so softly while feeding me white lies.

I trusted you, but you chose to be cruel,
Set the game, made me play by your rules.
Now you walk away, careless and free,
While I choke on the wreckage of what you did to me.

Why did you make me feel so bad,
When everything I did for you was good?
I gave you all the best that I had.
Yet you never loved me like you should.

You knew the truth, you couldnโ€™t deny,
You asked my friend, then laughed at my side.
I was never more than some kind of joke to you,
Just something to mock at whenever you wanted to.

I called you out, but you just stared,
Like my words were nothing but thin air.
You acted confused, you faked being surprised,
But I saw the truth behind your round eyes.
Yet, I didnโ€™t fight, nor did I plead for you to stay
I just watched in silence as you walked away.

It's those memories that last forever and stay the same lingering in your head as you wish to go back in time to experience the moments that made you smile the hardest, we know some moments aren't the greatest but you know most of them are the ones that made you shine the brightest.

You hope and pray that your friends stay the same but it's not always like that friends can change but you'll never forget how they made your day, friends are the one you enjoy school with and laugh at loud wondering if the teacher is gonna get you guys in trouble, they are the ones that made all those memories and the ones and one of the many people who support you in life as you hit every big milestone that make up what's you.

And for me, these people are the stars that shine in my life that I remember as happy memories forever throughout my journey in life.
