On August 10, 2026, the Sacred Heart Schoolโ€“Hijas de Jesus community joyfully commemorated the life, faith, and enduring legacy of ๐’๐ญ. ๐‚๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐๐š ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐š ๐๐ž ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ, a woman whose unwavering trust in God and humble spirit continue to inspire us today.

The Holy Mass was presided over by ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐’๐ข๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐จ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐’๐‰, with the meaningful participation of selected members of the ๐€๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ง๐ข ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
In his homily, Fr. Borres highlighted St. Candidaโ€™s profound ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐†๐จ๐ and her virtue of ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, especially in the midst of lifeโ€™s trials and uncertainties. Her life reminds us that even when the path is difficult, we can remain steadfast when we place our confidence in God.

Fr. Borres also challenged the community to cultivate ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐†๐จ๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐š๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซโ€”hearts willing to listen, serve, accompany, and respond generously to the needs of others.

Last August 07, 2026 (Friday), the Hijas-Hearter Family of Sacred Heart School โ€“ Hijas de Jesus gathered for their yearly Holy Spirit Mass at the onset of the School Year.

๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐€๐›๐ž๐ฅ ๐•๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐จ shepherded the community in the Eucharistic Celebration. He highlighted in his homily that if we are to become true followers of Jesus, we must learn to let go and let the wisdom of God be at work in us in this age of artificial intelligence. If we do so, we respect the โ€œmagnificent humanityโ€ that God has bestowed upon us.
