Handwashing with soap and clean water is a simple yet vital practice that helps prevent the spread of germs and illnesses. Practicing proper hand hygiene protects the health and safety of all learners, teachers, and school personnel.

Let us continue to promote regular handwashing—before eating, after using the restroom, and after handling shared materials—to ensure a clean and healthy school environment for everyone.

Pardo National High School joins the Global Handwashing Day 2024!

Global Hand washing Day is an international hand washing promotion campaign to motivate and mobilize people around the world to improve their hand washing habits. Washing hands at critical points both during the day and washing with soap are important. In 2008, Global Handwashing Day was celebrated for the first time.

Why are clean hands still important?

This year, 2024, the Global Handwashing Day theme is “Why are clean hands still important?”. This theme highlights the importance of clean hands in preventing outbreaks and pandemics, particularly in areas with limited access to healthcare.
