Today, as we celebrate the National Heroes Day, we honor the Filipinos whose courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for country helped shape the nation we know today. Their heroism was not merely defined by the battles they fought, but by their willingness to stand for principles greater than themselves.

For USJ-R SOLACE, the legacy of our heroes carries a profound responsibility.

As law students and emerging advocates, we are called not only to learn the law, but to use it as an instrument of justice and a shield for the vulnerable. We are called to speak when others cannot, to stand where others fear to stand, and to serve communities whose access to justice remains a challenge.

The practice of law is ultimately a public trust. May we never forget that behind every case is a person, behind every legal issue is a human story, and behind every pursuit of justice is the dignity of the Filipino.

Pursuant to OCA Circular No. 132-2026 dated July 17, 2026, the University of San Jose-Recoletos School of Law informs all law students, particularly upcoming Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) applicants, of the updated procedure for the submission of applications for Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) Certification.

The revised guidelines outline the required online submission, submission of physical documents, and the corresponding processing procedures in accordance with the Circular. Students are encouraged to carefully review the information provided to ensure familiarity with the updated requirements and procedures.
