Nag fasting ka ba… or nag FEASTING? 😳

Let’s be real…
Daghan sa ato mag ā€œfastingā€ pero ang food?
•binignit
•biko
•suman
•puro tam-is, puro carbs

That’s not sacrifice… that’s indulgence.

Sugar = addictive
The more you eat → the more you crave → the less discipline you build.

Fasting is also not just about food.

It’s about:
āœ”ļø thoughts
āœ”ļø words
āœ”ļø actions

Kay useless ang fasting sa plato…
kung ang batasan, wala nagbag-o.

This Lent… choose discipline over desire. šŸ™

Ikaw? Nag fasting ba gyud ka?
Comment ā€œREAL FASTINGā€ if naka-relate ka.

The Beauty of Walking (Especially in Times of Oil Crisis) šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļø

People used to walk to school, to the market, and even to work. Karon, murag tanan kinahanglan mosakay. Daghan na kaayo og rason not to walk — ā€œinit man,ā€ ā€œkapoy man,ā€ ā€œlayo man.ā€

Pero truth is, walking is one of the best things we can do for our bodies.

Scientifically, studies in exercise science show that brisk walking for around 45 minutes a day significantly improves heart health, circulation, and metabolism. It also reduces stress hormones and helps regulate sleep. Mao nang daghan studies nga nagpakita nga people who walk regularly sleep better at night. 😓

Interestingly, research also suggests that walking can sometimes be better than running or jogging for many people. Why?

• Lower impact on joints (less risk of injury)
• Easier to sustain consistently
• Burns fat efficiently during longer duration
• Helps regulate blood sugar and heart health

Meaning, you don’t need extreme workouts to be healthy. Sometimes the most natural movement is the best.

But of course, we also acknowledge reality.
Daghan ta og errands, trabaho, responsibilities. Time is also a cost. Dili pud practical nga maglakaw pirmi kung layo kaayo or kinahanglan kaayo madali.

So here’s a balanced mindset:

When walking makes sense:
āœ” Short distances (palengke, nearby store, school)
āœ” Early morning or late afternoon para dili init
āœ” If you want to clear your mind or reduce stress
āœ” If you want better sleep and daily movement

When it doesn’t:
āœ” Kung layo kaayo ang distance
āœ” Kung naa kay urgent appointments
āœ” Kung unsafe ang lugar for walking

Walking is not about being extreme.
It’s about returning to a simple habit our bodies were designed to do.

In a time where everything is getting expensive — fuel, healthcare, even stress — walking is one of the few things that is still free, simple, and powerful.

Sometimes, the answer to many modern problems is something our grandparents already practiced long ago. šŸš¶ā€ā™‚ļøāœØ

Start of the year reset kunohay sa diet…
ang pangutana: seryoso ba ka, or hype lang ni sa January?

Real change doesn’t start with food.
It starts with clarity.
Every lifestyle change should start with a strong WHY.

When you say, ā€œMag-diet ko this year,ā€
Pause for a moment and ask yourself: Why?

Para lang ba ni sa reunion?
Para sa beach trip?
Para sa one-time event?
Or… para ni sa imong health long-term life?

Because if your why is only for a certain occasion,
Most likely, the result is temporary.

But if your why is:
– para mahimong healthy para sa imong pamilya
– para dili pirmi kapoy
– para mo-age ka nga strong, dili fragile
then di na ni diet. Lifestyle na ni.

Lifestyle change is not a sprint; it's a marathon.
Journey ni siya. One day at a time. One choice at a time.

Having the right WHY makes everything sustainable.

If you need someone to walk with you—
not to judge, not to pressure—
but to support you and guide you along the way…
I’m here.

If seryoso ka sa health goal mo this years, type HEALTH GOAL 2026!

or Message me, and let’s take this journey one intentional step at a time. šŸ’›
