We from the University of San Carlos have GEO Cool as our entry for the pitch competition, which won 3rd Place for Non-Food Category and was pitched by Engr. Van Araco, MSME-2.

4/21/25. MOU Signing with IPak Corporation, marking more collaborations on R&D, innovation ang academic engagements with USC Extended production responsibility (EPR), Sustainability in the packagimg industry, and expanded startup ecosystem are potential tracks to tread.

Discussion with research group BRICKS of the DMME on IP acquisition, and endorsement to SM Yamamura (Gabriel Hidalgo- Furnace Operations Manager) for customer interview schedule.

Hybrid online meeting with Cebu Doctor Hospital on the status of 3D CBol project of startup MBG of USC. The TRL will soon be level 4 after some clinical trials shall be conducted. A very promising business idea indeed under the health & wellness category.

FEC online Meeting with Filipinnovation. Extracting some notes from Technology Transfer & Commercialization discussions. We are very hopeful for 3 entries from USC (REF BRICKS, 3DBolus, and POSTE), and hope to succeed on TT & C journey.

Convening at the New World Makati Hotel during the DOST-led National Consultation Conference on Unified Technology Transfer and Commercialization Policy on April 3, 2025 with different SUCs/ HEIs, other leading government agencies (DTI, IPOPHIL, DICT, NEDA, etc.), RDIs, and private industries with experts and reps from the British Council. The event highlights on tackling issues and challenges on technology transfer and commercialization such as funding, policy, operational budget, resources allocation, professionalization of TT & C officers, and IP protection among others with ultimate goals on local, national as well as global economic transformations.
