Students from the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program of Cavite National High School proudly earned the Best Paper Presentation Award (Science, Technology, and Innovation Session 11) at Panday-Kabatiran 2026: 1st International Multidisciplinary Student Research Conference, held on May 4–5, 2026 at Rizal Technological University and online via Zoom.

The awardees — Lia Amerie S. Pangilinan, Ezekiel Hans Gelo A. Soriano, and Chloe Erin V. Santiago — showcased their study “BREEZE: Development of a Breath Regulation and Energy-Efficient Zephyr Powered Equipment for Emergency and Community Healthcare Applications” under the guidance of their dedicated research adviser, Jimmy M. Maquirang.

Competing among delegates from 20 international schools and 88 local schools across the Philippines, this achievement highlights not only their academic excellence but also the global competitiveness of STE student researchers on the international stage.

This victory is a testament to their innovation, perseverance, and commitment to addressing real-world healthcare challenges through science and research.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the unwavering support of Jocelyn P. Ibañez, Head Teacher VI of the Science Department; Randie L. Salonga, Principal IV; Madelaine Gatchailan, EPS in Science; and SDS Gregorio A. Co Jr. of SDO Cavite City. Their guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in making this success possible.
