In preparation for the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents scheduled on August 25, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Schools Division Office of Cavite City through the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) conducted a preparatory meeting with key partners and emergency responders at Cavite National High School - Senior High School (CNHS-SHS), the designated school for the conduct of the division's drill activity.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the drill scenario, coordination mechanisms, communication protocols, safety considerations, and the specific roles and responsibilities of participating agencies to ensure the safe, coordinated, and effective implementation of the activity. Discussions also focused on strengthening inter-agency collaboration and enhancing school-based preparedness and response mechanisms for active attack incidents.

As part of the preparations, representatives from the participating agencies, together with school officials and personnel, conducted an inspection of classrooms, offices, entry and exit points, evacuation routes, assembly areas, and other critical facilities within the school premises. This site inspection helped identify logistical requirements and ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for the smooth and successful conduct of the drill.

Cavite National High School - Senior High School expresses its sincere appreciation to Ms. Annaliza T. Fernandez, Chief Education Supervisor of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), and Ms. Caren Joy B. Zerna, DRRM Coordinator of the Schools Division Office of Cavite City, for their leadership, guidance, and steadfast commitment in ensuring the successful preparation and conduct of this important safety initiative.

We likewise extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Barangay Officials of Barangay 38-A Sampaguita and Barangay 47-B Pagkakaisa, and the Philippine Red Cross for generously sharing their time, expertise, recommendations, and operational inputs in strengthening our collective preparedness and response efforts.

Through strong partnerships, proactive planning, and shared responsibility, Cavite National High School continues to foster a safer, more resilient, and more secure learning environment for all learners, personnel, and stakeholders.
