God empowered His people today through Pastor Gerardo Cajobe during the Baccalaureate service of Eunoia, AUP Academy’s Graduands 2024.

Pastor Cajobe, Chairperson of the AUP Board of Trustees, emphasized practical steps to attain Eunoia, or beautiful thinking, using the mnemonic REFLECT. These practices can be integrated into your daily life here at AUP. Here are our sermon notes for your reference:

✅ Read and delve deeply into the Scripture. Utilize tools and technologies to keep yourself engaged with God’s word.
✅ Engage with God daily through prayer. Beautiful thinking begins when the power of God takes over your life. Maintain a constant, mindful connection with God.
✅ Foster relationships that encourage spiritual growth. Surround yourself with friends who strive to live by God’s standards.
✅ List things to thank God for daily. Focusing on gratitude can transform your perspective, highlighting the good in life and minimizing the negative.
✅ Extend help to others through volunteer work. Serving others puts your faith into action and develops a caring, compassionate heart, which embodies Eunoia.
✅ Choose media content that aligns with virtuous values. Avoid consuming media that does not promote purity and strong imaginations. Remember, what you put into your mind and body affects what comes out.
✅ Track your attitude and behavior. Consistently reflect on your actions and strive to align them with your faith and values.
