In support of the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟖-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 (𝐕𝐀𝐖), students from the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) actively participated in the university-wide Gender and Development (GAD) activities, earning commendable recognitions.

On December 10, 2025, CEIT students 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐕𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨 (BS Industrial Engineering) and 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 (BS Architecture) 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞, showcasing their knowledge and awareness of gender-related issues and advocacy.

Continuing the winning streak, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝐄𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧 (BS Architecture) claimed 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 held on December 11, 2025. His entry stood out for its creativity and strong message aligned with the campaign’s advocacy against violence toward women.

These achievements reflect CEIT’s strong commitment to promoting gender equality, awareness, and active participation in meaningful social advocacies. Congratulations to our students for bringing pride to the college and for contributing to the success of the 18-Day Campaign to End VAW.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) recognizes the remarkable performance of 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠 at the 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧, where the team earned 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 and was named an 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 during the competition held on November 26–28, 2025.

The team consists of 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 (𝐁𝐒𝐂𝐒 𝟑-𝟐), 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐂𝐒 𝟐-𝟐), 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 (𝐁𝐒𝐂𝐒 𝟑-𝟒), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐨 (𝐁𝐒𝐂𝐒 𝟒-𝟑). Competing against diverse teams, they demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and innovative use of technology.

Their project, 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐀𝐢𝐚𝐧, is a web-based virtual assistant developed to support Filipinos in navigating government websites and completing online forms. By simplifying complex procedures and offering guided, step-by-step assistance, GabAian aims to make public services more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.

Team awsilog’s achievement reflects the growing impact of CEIT students in developing technology-driven solutions that address societal needs. The College of Engineering and Information Technology congratulates the team for their dedication and for representing the college with excellence in a highly competitive innovation event.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) extends its warmest congratulations to 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 for winning the 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 at the 𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐱 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭: 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐗 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 last December 11, 2025.

The winning team is composed of 𝐁𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝟑-𝟐) 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨, 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬, 𝐓𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐋𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐬, 𝐌𝐲𝐜𝐚𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧. Their outstanding performance demonstrated innovation, technical excellence, and a strong understanding of user-centered design in financial technology.

Team Stack Overflowers impressed the judges with their project “𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧,” an AI-powered feature designed to elevate the Home Credit app beyond a traditional loan payment platform. Homevision enables users to visualize their dream room makeover through AI-generated designs, identifies furniture and products within the visualization, and seamlessly links these items to Home Credit installment options. This approach transforms aspirations into immediately achievable and shoppable experiences, positioning the app as a lifestyle enabler rather than a static financial tool.

This achievement reflects the students’ ability to apply artificial intelligence, UX design, and FinTech concepts to real-world challenges, reinforcing CEIT’s commitment to producing innovative and industry-ready graduates.

Their achievement reflects the university’s strong commitment to research excellence and innovation, highlighting the capability of CvSU students to compete and excel on regional platforms that advance science, technology, and engineering.
