Kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa pagdiriwang ng International Day to End Corporal Punishment of Children ngayong Abril 30. Tayo ay magtulungan upang wakasan ang corporal punishment at karahasan laban sa kabataan!

Philippine history is replete with examples of how our forebears overcame their own struggles through time. Their spirits are enshrined in each and every one of us to emerge victorious in our respective struggles.

On this National Day for the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan, we enjoin the Filipino people to remember those who dreamed and sacrificed just for us to live in an ideal society. We are the inheritors of their memory. They are us. They are part of our being and becoming. Participate virtually in the commemoration of the National Day conducted by various local government units and agencies across the country. Local heroes and illustrious personages will be offered with a wreath along with Lapulapu. The National Government also dedicates this national day of ours to all the front liners and Filipinos.

This pandemic we currently have shall pass. We will get there.
