• 𝙄𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙖𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙨𝙖 𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙖… ✨

👀Noong 1917 sa Fátima, Portugal, iniulat ng tatlong batang pastol na sina Lúcia, Jacinta, at Francisco ang pagpapakita ng Birheng Maria.

Ang kaganapang ito ay nakilala bilang Our Lady of Fátima apparitions, na nagdala ng mensahe ng panalangin, pagbabalik-loob, at kapayapaan.

Mula Mayo 13 hanggang Oktubre 13, 1917, anim na beses umanong nagpakita ang Birheng Maria sa Cova da Iria. Ayon sa mga ulat, hinihikayat Niya ang mga tao na manalangin, magsisi, at magtiwala sa Diyos, lalo na sa gitna ng digmaan at pagsubok.🌟

Noong Oktubre 13, 1917, naganap ang kilalang “Miracle of the Sun,” na sinaksihan ng libu-libong tao at itinuturing na isa sa pinakamahalagang bahagi ng kaganapan.
Sa kasalukuyan, ang Our Lady of Fátima ay sumisimbolo ng pananampalataya, pag-asa, at kapayapaan sa gitna ng mga hamon ng buhay.

Every May 12, the world celebrates 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲—a special day that honors not only the dedication of nurses but also the birth anniversary of 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗲, the pioneer who revolutionized healthcare. 🩷✨

Known as the “𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘮𝘱,” Florence Nightingale became a symbol of 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 as she cared for wounded soldiers during the Crimean War. But her impact went far beyond that—she introduced proper sanitation, emphasized hygiene, and set standards that shaped modern nursing as we know it today.

Because of her legacy, nurses are now recognized as one of the most essential pillars of healthcare. ⭐

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼, also known as “𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘆” is one of the most colorful and popular festivals in the Philippines. It is a month-long Catholic devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary, culminating in famous Santacruzan.

Children are dressed in white and offer fresh flowers such as sampaguita or gumamela at the altar of the Virgin Mary. Santacruzan is a ritual pageant held on the last day of 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘥𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘰. It re-enacts the search for the ‘True Cross’ by Reyna Elena and her son.

𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 is held in 𝗠𝗮𝘆 because it is the blooming season in the Philippines. It is also seen as a celebration of the spring rains that help crops grow after the dry summer months.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟔, 𝟏𝟗𝟒𝟐, was one of the most heartbreaking moments in Philippine history. It was known as the last stronghold of Filipino and American forces. This island endured constant bombings and attacks after the fall of Bataan. Soldiers fought bravely, holding on as best as they could despite being overwhelmed and exhausted.

In the end, the situation became impossible. Jonathan Wainwright made the decision to surrender to save the lives of his men. It wasn't just a defeat—it was the start of a painful period under Japanese control.

Still, the courage shown by those who defended
Corregidor continues to inspire, reminding us of the strength and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom.
