Light of Progress: The Cauayeño Parol.
This magnificent parol embodies the theme "Paskong Tagumpay sa Lungsod ng Una Ka Dito: Liwanag ng Progreso, Alay ng Cauayeño," celebrating Christmas triumph and progress in Cauayan City.
The colors Gold, Yellow, and Brown carry deep meaning: Gold signifies the prosperity, high value, and success of the city; Yellow reflects optimism, joy, and the illumination of the city's aspirations; while Brown, drawn from the bamboo structure, represents the groundedness, resourcefulness, and resilience of the Cauayeño spirit. The parol is inspired by the "Una Ka Dito" logo, subtly reflecting its core message.
At its heart, the Holy Family represents the profound importance of every Cauayeño family. The 65 small stars represent the 65 barangays, showcasing their unity. With its twinkling lights, this is the heartfelt offering of the Cauayeños, emphasizing their solidarity, pride, and continuous, hopeful ascent into the light of progress.
