𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 | 𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 2026 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐒

In celebration of Teachers’ Month, we share a glimpse of excellence through the stories of our BLEPT MARCH 2026 PASSERS.

For our newly licensed teachers, the road to success was not simply about preparing for an examination. Rather, it was a journey of remaining steadfast despite uncertainties, and holding on to the purpose that brought them forward.

Indeed, Their achievement reflects how they embody the department’s mantra: “Where Excellence is a Habit"

As we share their testimony, may their experiences remind every aspiring educator that success is not always defined by how quickly we reach our goals, but by how faithfully we pursue them.

May their story be the fuel that drives future educators to pursue their goals with greater eagerness, stronger conviction, and strive for excellence.

A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE: Seventeen (17) Practice teachers thanked their Resource Teachers and the whole OLPCC Gradeschool led by the school principal, Dr. Erlyn C. Galope during their exit program enthemed, “Teach with purpose. Serve with compassion. Inspire with faith. Leave a legacy through every life you touch.”, September 25.

Angel C. Cariaga opened the event with a prayer, followed by introductory remarks from Supervising Instructor Prexanne Mavis F. Cristobal, MAEd. Pre-Service Teachers and Resource Teachers exchanged heartfelt expressions of gratitude and inspiration, after which the Pre-Service Teachers presented their mentors with certificates and tokens of appreciation. The occasion concluded with a celebratory lunch prepared by the practice teachers.

Loreighne Abcde M. Calaoagan and Ellaine Rhea Mae R. Marcos served as emcees.

The event served as a moment of appreciation to the Pillarican educators who empowered the practice teachers all throughout their practice teaching journey.

Educators in Motion : Day 3

Today is another special day for our future teachers as they completed their Final Demonstration Teaching at the Our Lady of the Pillar College – Cauayan, Inc. Junior High School Campus. A big congratulations to:

1. Gerlie Anela P. Vea
2. Aileen Joy C. Pallermo

These hardworking Filipino Pre-Service Teachers showed that learning becomes more meaningful when lessons are connected to experiences that learners can understand and relate to.

On the Filipino majors’ side, Gerlie Anela P. Vea connected "Dahil sa Anak by Julian C. Balmaceda" to today’s Family Day, creating a meaningful connection between the lesson and the importance of family in the lives of the learners.

Aileen Joy C. Pallermo, meanwhile, discussed "Retorikal na Analisis" by helping learners understand how words and messages can influence people. Through simple examples and engaging activities, she made the lesson clear, relatable, and easy to understand.

Our Pillarican Pre-Service Teachers showed us that teaching is more than just sharing knowledge. It is about creating meaningful experiences, connecting lessons to real life, and helping learners see the value in what they learn.

As they continue to put their knowledge and skills into practice, they embody the department’s mantra: “Where Excellence is a Habit.”

Educators in Motion : Day 2
Another day of meaningful learning unfolds as our future teachers bring their lessons to life through engaging and interactive classroom experiences. A big congratulations to:

On the Filipino majors end, Elaisa B. Jao introduced “Panlipunan at Ekonomiko sa Panahon ng Kolonyalismong Espanyol”through an opportunitytoken activity featuring the song “Tatsulok” by Bamboo. The activity engaged learners as they earned and exchanged tokens for basic needs, leading them to the social and economic conditions during the Spanish colonial period.

While Charie Mae M. Ramos introduced her lesson on “Mga Kagamitang Kinakailangan sa Pagtalakay ng Iba’t Ibang Paksang Akademiko at Teknikal” through a fun guess the missing object activity featuring objects. The activity sparked curiosity and served as a meaningful transition to the essential considerations in writing effective academic and technical texts.

Kristel P. Baccay introduced her lesson on “Mga Anyo ng Multimodal” through a Squid Game-themed “Red Light, Green Light” activity. Learners passed the red and green lights while music played, then answered questions when the music stopped, making the lesson interactive and exciting.

On the Values Education majors’ end, Amer Phil C. Angangan introduced his lesson on “Catholicism in the Philippines” through a “Filipino Catholic Bingo” activity, engaging learners in a fun and meaningful way as they explored familiar Catholic practices and traditions.

Each classroom experience reflects the dedication of our Pillarican Pre-Service Teachers as they continue to learn, teach, and grow through every demonstration.

Educators in Motion : Day 1

Today is another special day for our future teachers as they finished their Final Demonstration Teaching. A big congratulations to:

These hardworking student teachers made learning fun and active!

On the English majors’ side, Al Vincent F. Lacuna’s gamified class discussion where he split the class into two to compete in answering questions on the meaning of utterances as he guided them through speech acts made for an engaging exchange.

Jeren C. Quilang’s poem‑making game, where the learners divided into three composed a four lined stanza of rhymes from the lyrics of the song, Love Story, provided an effective introduction to the different types of poetry.

On the Filipino majors' end, Karl Angelo S. Tungpalan introduced his lesson on the arrival of the Spaniards through an interactive “Choose Your Corner” activity, where groups analyzed a situation, chose between Lalaban, Pakikipag‑usap, or Pagsunod, and defended their decision before the class, encouraging them to think critically, collaborate, and express their perspectives with confidence.

Jessa A. Ramos guided her students on the topic of the different "Estratehiya sa Kritikal na Pagbabasa at Panonood" through a media guessing game where students must identify books and movies based on their covers and lines, deepening their perspectives when consuming media.

Our Pillarican Pre-Service Teachers showed us that teaching is more than just sharing facts. It is about creating exciting activities that help students love learning and do their best.

Excellence in Ex*****on: Day 5

Today is another special day for our future teachers as they finished their Final Demonstration Teaching. A big congratulations to:

1. Jemwel L. Paguyo
2. Angel C. Cariaga
3. Ellaine Rhea Mae R. Marcos
4. Kriscene R. Aggabao

These hardworking student teachers made learning fun and active! Jemwel L. Paguyo used a "Pass the Ball" game and family riddles to get learners sharing their own home responsibilities, while Angel C. Cariaga kept energy high with a mic-pass Q&A, interactive scoreboard, and a fast-paced group answer race to teach the author's purpose.

Ellaine Rhea Mae R. Marcos brought the plant life cycle to life by integrating local Isabela spots alongside rebus puzzles and interactive storytelling, while Kriscene R. Aggabao used real hygiene items like toothbrushes, combs, and towels with a big book to make cleanliness easy to practice.

From Day 1 all the way to Day 5, our pre-service teachers have truly shown what it means to lead a classroom with creativity, dedication, and heart. The successful completion of these final teaching demonstrations marks the beginning of their journey as inspiring educators who are ready to make a real difference in young minds.

Our Pillarican Pre-Service Teachers showed us that teaching is more than just sharing facts. It is about creating exciting activities that help students love learning and do their best.
