Moving Forward with Purpose

My dear Grade 10 Completers of OLPCC,

It is both a privilege and a homecoming for me to stand before you today—not only as your guest speaker, but as a proud alumna of Batch 2003. Being back in this institution reminds me that the values we learned here are not just lessons of the past, but guiding principles for life.

As I reflect on your journey, I am reminded of what it truly means to be an OLPIAN. It is not merely about completing a level of education, but about living out the core values that shape your character and future:

✨ O – Offering everything you do and everything you are to God
✨ L – Love
✨ P – Prayer
✨ I – Interests
✨ A – Action
✨ N – Never give up

Earlier, we witnessed some of you bravely step forward—an act that may seem simple, yet carries a powerful message. In life, opportunities often come quietly, and success belongs to those who have the courage to rise, to take risks, and to move when called.

Always remember: being an OLPIAN means choosing to act with purpose, guided by faith, strengthened by love, and sustained by perseverance. When you hold on to these values, you will never walk alone—you will always be united in purpose, moving forward together.

As you enter Senior High School, carry with you not only your knowledge, but the identity and spirit of an OLPIAN. Continue to step forward, to grow, and to shine in whatever path you choose.

Congratulations, Completers. Your journey is just beginning.

April 15, 2026 | Msgr. Marino D. Gatan, HP Memorial Hall

The 11th Moving Up Ceremony of OLPCC Junior High School was a meaningful celebration of our completers as they step forward with confidence and shared purpose. Anchored on this year’s theme, “OLPCC Completers: United in Purpose, Moving Forward Together,” the occasion was further inspired by our guest speaker, Atty. Maria Andrea C. Lagundi-Santiago, a proud OLPCC alumna from Batch 2003.

Her journey stands as a testament to the values we uphold, inspiring our completers to pursue excellence with faith, determination, and unity. With gratitude and pride, we commend the Class of 2026 as they move forward to new beginnings.
