Our Chief Editor Dr. Paul Angelo Tamayo is representing the SUKISOK Journal of the Arts and Sciences at the 2026 Philippine Journal Editors Forum, happening today, May 8, 2026, at the Heritage Hotel Manila, Pasay City.
The forum gathered Philippine journal editors for discussions on journal indexing readiness, particularly in relation to AGPCI and Scopus. It also provided a venue for reflection, dialogue, and capacity-building toward strengthening the quality, visibility, and sustainability of Philippine scholarly journals.
Dr. Tamayoโs participation reflects SUKISOKโs continuing commitment to improving editorial standards, enhancing indexing readiness, and contributing to the advancement of research publication in the Philippines.

The SUKISOK Journal of the Arts and Sciences proudly announces the publication of its Volume 6, Issue 1, titled โFrom Governance to Care, Toward Memory.โ
This issue brings together interdisciplinary scholarship that examines governance, education, family life, and historical memory. The contributions explore how accountability, care, resilience, and responsibility are lived across institutions, classrooms, households, and societies, offering critical reflections on both local realities and global histories.
Together, these studies trace a movement from public systems to personal lives, culminating in a reflection on memory and historical responsibility.

This release also marks an important milestone for the journal as it transitions to a tri-annual publication schedule (April, August, and December), reflecting strengthened editorial capacity and sustained scholarly output. The journal continues to expand its visibility through national and international indexing. It is committed to a diamond open-access framework, in which all articles are freely accessible to readers without subscription fees or article processing charges, and follows a double-blind, peer-reviewed process.
