This festival attire celebrates the hardworking spirit and resilience of local ice cream vendors in Cauayan City. It depicts the sorbeteros and sorbeteras as symbols of sustainability and resourcefulness, highlighting how these everyday heroes bring joy to communities while promoting small livelihoods, creativity and unity.
It also represents perseverance, determination and the sweetness of success earned through honest work, reflecting the values of the Cauayeño people.
The design embodies the vibrant street culture, warm hospitality and bayanihan spirit seen in every neighborhood where they serve with smiles and dedication. Through this concept, the attire honors the dignity of labor and the enduring strength of Cauayeño workers who continue to serve with pride, passion and commitment, making them true icons of local culture and inspiration for future generations.
