Pursuant to 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟮𝟱𝟲, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭 is observed as 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 in the Philippines.

In observance of this national holiday, classes and office transactions will be suspended on August 21, 2026. Regular classes and office operations will resume on the next working day.

Marine Transportation and Marine Engineering programs of Isabela College of Arts & Technology, Inc. (ICAT) conducted a Ship Familiarization Meeting with parents on August 20, 2026, at the ICAT Gymnasium. The meeting discussed the program’s requirements, preparations, and activities while strengthening coordination among the school, students, and parents ahead of the upcoming ship familiarization program.

Barangay Tagaran will celebrate its 72nd Fiesta in honor of San Roque and the 3rd Padderem-Mu Festival 2026 on August 19–21, 2026. The three-day celebration brings together residents, families, and visitors in a meaningful gathering that highlights faith, culture, tradition, and community unity.

The festivities serve as an opportunity to honor San Roque, celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Barangay Tagaran, and strengthen the spirit of togetherness among community members.
