𝗨𝗣𝗛𝗦𝗖–𝗖𝗜𝗛𝗧𝗠 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹: 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

CAUAYAN CAMPUS — July 8, 2026. — The University of Perpetual Help System Cauayan–College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (UPHSC–CIHTM) took a proactive step toward global excellence through its participation in an international benchmarking activity at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU). Representing the institution were Ma’am Buena Brigitte Beltran and Ma’am Jessel Joy Sangdaan, who explored international practices and innovative approaches in education, facilities, management, leadership, and student development.

The benchmarking activity highlighted valuable insights on graduate employability, particularly the importance of developing strong work ethics, professionalism, and industry-ready competencies. The UPHSC–CIHTM representatives gained perspectives on how effective facilities, institutional practices, and student-centered programs can help prepare graduates for the demands of the global workplace. These learnings provide meaningful input toward strengthening the college’s commitment to producing competent, responsible, and globally competitive professionals.

More than an international exposure, the activity served as a platform for learning, innovation, and institutional transformation. The insights gained are expected to contribute to UPHSC–CIHTM’s continuous efforts to upgrade and innovate its approaches to teaching, management, leadership, and student development. By bringing global perspectives into local practice, UPHSC–CIHTM continues to build a stronger educational environment where students are prepared not only to enter the workforce but also to thrive and lead with excellence, work ethic, and professionalism.

The training, offered through the 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡 & 𝙇𝙤𝙙𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘼𝙃𝙇𝘼), provided a meaningful and enriching learning experience focused on delivering exceptional guest service, anticipating guests’ needs, creating memorable experiences, and effectively responding to challenging service situations.

This achievement reflects our faculty members’ commitment to continuous professional development, lifelong learning, and excellence in hospitality and tourism education. As educators and hospitality professionals, may the knowledge and skills gained from this extensive training continue to inspire us to uphold service excellence and help prepare future hospitality and tourism professionals for the global industry.

𝐂𝐈𝐇𝐓𝐌 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 💙💛

The College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management successfully conducted its General Assembly and Orientation for the 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 2026–2027 𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 27, 2026, at Tindalo Hall, bringing together the entire CIHTM community—from freshmen to fourth-year students.

The gathering began with welcome remarks from 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙡 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝙍. 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙙𝙖𝙖𝙣, 𝘾𝙂𝙎𝙋, 𝙈𝘽𝘼, followed by an inspiring message from 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙇. 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙜, 𝙀𝙙.𝘿., 𝙋𝙝.𝘿. The CIHTM faculty and staff were also formally introduced to the students.

Throughout the orientation, students were provided with essential information about the department’s academic programs, vision and mission, Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), office and laboratory guidelines, grooming and uniform standards, important schedules, and upcoming activities. The PEOs emphasized professional competence, leadership, effective communication, teamwork, lifelong learning, ethical practice, Christian values, and contributions to national and global development.

A special highlight of the assembly was the enthusiastic participation of our freshmen, who showcased their talents through lively and entertaining performances. Their energy and creativity made their official welcome to the CIHTM family truly memorable.
