In view of the persistent rains brought about by Tropical Depression Basyang, classes in all levels, both public and private schools, in the Municipality of Catmon, Cebu are hereby SUSPENDED starting tomorrow, February 04, 2026, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

In view of the persistent rains brought about by Tropical Depression Basyang, classes in all levels, both public and private schools, in the Municipality of Catmon, Cebu are hereby SUSPENDED starting tomorrow, February 04, 2026, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

According to PAGASA, as of 5:30 PM on February 03, 2026, Tropical Depression Basyang has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is expected to bring continued rainfall.

The public is advised to prioritize safety, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay tuned to official advisories.

As per Executive Order No. 43, Series of 2025, all face-to-face classes and alternative learning modalities in ALL levels (public and private schools) are SUSPENDED effective December 5, 2025, due to Tropical Depression "Wilma."

Please stay safe and monitor updates from PAGASA and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Due to the forecasted heavy rainfall brought by the prevailing weather conditions, all face-to-face and modular classes in all levels within the Municipality of Catmon are hereby SUSPENDED on November 24 and 25, 2025, to ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

We advise everyone to stay safe, monitor official announcements, and take necessary precautions.
