Nutrition Month 2026 Highlight: Cooking Show Competition 🥗👨‍🍳

One of the major highlights of our Nutrition Month Celebration was the Cooking Show Competition held yesterday, July 17, 2026, immediately after class hours from 3:00 PM onwards.

Students from Grades 7 to 10 showcased their culinary talents, creativity, and teamwork by preparing dishes that reflected not only their cooking skills but also the importance of healthy and nutritious meals. Each group presented a unique dish, carefully prepared and beautifully served, making the competition both exciting and inspiring.

A heartfelt congratulations to all the participants! Your passion, creativity, and dedication were evident in every dish you prepared. Each team demonstrated its own unique style, proving that cooking is both an art and an essential life skill.

We also extend our sincerest gratitude to our distinguished panel of judges for sharing their time, expertise, and valuable insights:

🌿 NUTRITION MONTH 2026 | OPENING PROGRAM 🌿

🗓️ July 3, 2026
🕒 3:00 PM

The Nutrition Month 2026 Opening Program officially commenced last July 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM with an afternoon filled with energy, enthusiasm, and unity.

Behind the success of the event was the dedication of the Decoration Committee and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, whose creativity and teamwork transformed the venue into a welcoming space for the celebration.

The opening program was gracefully hosted by Illah Bhabe G. Ogabang and Ella May T. Sorela, who guided the program with enthusiasm and professionalism.

A warm welcome was extended by our MAPEH Coordinator, Ms. Rhea Grace A. Poro, who also formally declared the Nutrition Month 2026 Celebration open, inspiring everyone to uphold healthy habits and proper nutrition.

The celebration then came alive with a lively Zumba performance by our talented Thespian performers, setting an energetic tone and encouraging everyone to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.

This meaningful celebration was made possible through the unwavering support and active participation of the teachers of Duyan National High School and of course —the students.

Together, let us continue to promote healthy choices, active living, and a stronger school community throughout this Nutrition Month.

Arts Month Celebration 2026!
Theme: “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting”

Last February 13, 2026, the vibrant social hall of Duyan National High School came alive with creativity and passion as students celebrated Arts Month with the inspiring theme, “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting.” The event highlighted the power of art as a reflection of truth and a symbol of courage.

Participants proudly showcased their remarkable talents through various artistic performances and creative expressions—each piece telling stories of authenticity, bravery, and cultural pride. From captivating performances to stunning visual artworks, the celebration became a true harvest of talent and dedication.

This meaningful celebration would not have been made possible without the remarkable initiatives and leadership of Ms. Rhea Grace Poro, the school’s MAPEH coordinator, whose dedication and commitment brought the vision of this event to life.

Indeed, the event was more than just a showcase—it was a reminder that art speaks when words fall short, and courage shines brightest through creativity.

“Sining ang tinig ng katotohanan, at sa bawat likha, sumisiklab ang giting ng kabataan.”
