The Second Year Criminology students of Samar College are currently undergoing Marksmanship and Combat Shooting Training, a vital component of their professional preparation as future law enforcement officers.
Beyond developing shooting accuracy and tactical skills, the students are also being taught the fundamental principles of firearm safety by the Range Officers. Through proper instruction and supervision, they are learning the responsible handling, operation, and management of fi****ms, emphasizing discipline, accountability, and adherence to safety protocols both on and off the firing range.
This activity serves as an opportunity for students to strengthen not only their technical competencies but also the values and professionalism expected of future protectors of peace and public safety.
This successful training activity would not be possible without the unwavering support and leadership of our OIC Dean, Mary-Ann Abaigar, MSCJ, and our Program Head, Marvin Moreno. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated Criminology instructors and Range Officers for their guidance, expertise, and commitment to the development of our students.
As the training continues, we commend our Second Year Criminology students for their enthusiasm, discipline, and dedication to excellence.
