I might be hypocrite and ignorant to say that WE DON’T NEED MONEY.

We need money in all of our aspects of our life, and our love one’s happiness might be affected if we don’t secured them.

But watching Emman’s interview with Toni Gonzaga, made me realized that WE DONT REGRET GIVING UP our PROFESSIONAL CAREER and choosing over our kids above anything else. That was the best decision we ever made so far.

I was devastated hearing traumatizing experienced she felt in the arms of her nanny. She thought it was normal discipline — but it was far from it.

Her yaya would tell her that her stuffed toy would “kill her” and even lock her in a cabinet with it. Sometimes, when she moved while sleeping, she’d get slapped. She was told hurtful words — things no child should ever hear.

THIS IS JUST A FEW BUT IMPORTANT REMINDER that we are liable for our children formative years. Those early experiences will help them mold into someone who will they become in the future.

Are they growing into someone ba na…
May kumpyansa ba sarili?
May kulang ba sa pagkatao nila?
May malaking trauma ba?
May hinanakit ba sila?

Honestly we are the mere witnesses that we cannot entrust other people for our kid’s welfare. Labas pasok kami noon ng hospital. Nagkakasakit sila ng malala in the arms of our nanny. And you know what? They are fully okay and healthy na kami na ngayon ang nag-aalaga.

We are firm believer that TENDER LOVING CARE from parents has a healing power for our kids.

We are both former DEPED TEACHERS ni Madiskarteng Daddy, and we chose to live and work together this time while our kids are making messes at home.
We DONT recommend others to copy and duplicate us because our path we chose are for those who has only with a braver heart. We chose the path that less travelled by. Bawal ito sa mahihina ang loob.

In short nagresign kami para matutukan sila.


Magulo man,
Makalat man,
Nakakagalit man at
minsan NAKAKAUBOS man,

Pero sabi niya, makikita namin ulit ang pera. At totoo, not that much but we could sustain somehow our family needs this time.

He was right.
Today, we may not have much money, but we have peace — knowing our children grew up safe, loved, and never bullied or traumatized during their toddler years.

Because sometimes, the best investment isn’t always money — it’s time, presence, and love. ❤️
