Today, we gather to honor Andres Bonifacio—one of the bravest hearts in our history. He was not born into power or wealth, yet he stood up for a nation that had forgotten its own strength. Through the Katipunan, he helped awaken a people who had been silent for too long.

Bonifacio Day reminds us that courage does not wait for perfect conditions. It begins the moment we choose what is right, even when it is difficult. As students and young leaders, we are called to carry that spirit—by speaking with honesty, acting with kindness, and standing for fairness in our own classrooms and communities.

May this day inspire us to build a Philippines that Bonifacio would recognize: a country where freedom is respected, unity is practiced, and hope is lived out in our everyday choices.
