Days 5–6 marked the final days of the Capstone Defense for the 4th Year BSIT students, held at the SSU ACAD AVC, marking the successful completion of this major academic requirement.

Well done to all the students for their dedication, perseverance, and impressive capstone presentations. Congratulations on this achievement! ✨

Another successful Day 3 and 4 as 4th Year BSIT students confidently presented their capstone projects at the IS Laboratory and CAS ACAD AVC.

Their hard work and dedication truly paid off! ✨

💻 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
The 4th Year BSIT students officially commenced their Capstone Defense at CAS ACAD AVC starting January 26.

The graduating BSIT students are currently presenting and defending their capstone projects, demonstrating their technical skills, innovation, and preparedness for professional practice.

Here are highlights from Day 1 and Day 2 of the defense.

As the Capstone Defense continues, the BSIT program would like to express its sincere appreciation to the esteemed panelists Sir Erickson L. Niego, Ma’am Sweet Mercy F. Pacolor, Sir Mark B. Escalante, Sir Zaldy A. Jabiñar, Ma'am Maryjes G. Calades, and Ma'am Rezy V. Mendaño, for their time, expertise, and guidance throughout the defense.

The program is also deeply grateful to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Mae V. Cañal, for her unwavering support, leadership, and continued encouragement of the BSIT students throughout their academic journey.

📌 OJT General Meeting 2026

All 4th Year CAS students from BSIT and BSIS gathered at the SSU Gymnasium from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN last January 22, 2026 for a General Meeting in preparation for their On-the-Job Training (OJT).

The meeting served as an important avenue to discuss guidelines, expectations, and important reminders as students take their next step toward real-world industry experience.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with learning, growth, and professional development.

The IT Society warmly extends its birthday greetings this December to the Executive Secretary, 𝗝𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗹!! 🤩🎉

With her sociable, easygoing, and friendly personality, she gets along well with everyone and brings positive energy to the organization. She continues to impress with her ability to excel at any task given to her, making her a truly valued and admired member of the IT Society.
