ADVOCACY ABOUT DRUG ADDICTION

Drug addiction is a chronic disease characterized by drug seeking and use that is compulsive, or difficult to control, despite harmful consequences.
Brain changes that occur over time with drug use challenge an addicted person’s self-control and interfere with their ability to resist intense urges to take drugs. This is why drug addiction is also a relapsing disease.
Relapse is the return to drug use after an attempt to stop. Relapse indicates the need for more or different treatment.
Most drugs affect the brain's reward circuit by flooding it with the chemical messenger dopamine. Surges of dopamine in the reward circuit cause the reinforcement of pleasurable but unhealthy activities, leading people to repeat the behavior again and again.

No to animal cruelty.
End cosmetic animal testing
Because beauty should be kind

Animals are still suffering and dying to test shampoo, mascara and other cosmetic products. Terrified rabbits, rats, guinea pigs and mice have substances forced down their throats, dripped into their eyes or smeared onto their skin before they are killed. With your support, we can end animal testing in cosmetics.

Testing cosmetics on animals is both cruel and unnecessary because companies can already create innovative products using thousands of ingredients that have a history of safe use and do not require any additional testing. Plus, modern testing methods (such as human cell-based tests and sophisticated computer models) have replaced outdated animal tests with new non-animal methods that are often faster, less expensive and more reliable.

"Every HUMAN has RIGHTS"

Human rights are rights we have, simply because we exist as human beings.Human rights are needed to protect and preserve every individual's humanity, to ensure that every individual can live a life of dignity and a life that is worthy of us just because everyone is a human being and therefore a moral being.

Protecting human rights means to ensure that people receive some degree of decent, humane treatment and violating the most basic human rights means to deny individuals' their fundamental moral entitlements and treating them as if they are less than human and undeserving of respect and dignity.

That is why we are pushing this forward. We fight and advocate to change systems and conditions that cause human rights abuses, to improve laws and lives throughout the world, to represent individual victims of human rights violations and to fight injustice. We advocate for the dignity, freedom and basic human rights of all people.

"There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest." — Elie Wiesel

A PROUD ADVOCATE OF WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT. Society doesn’t really encourage women to be entrepreneurs. Sexism and stereotyping urge girls to follow less strenuous and kinder vocations, and a career in business is not amongst them. I have total respect and admiration for women who chose to pursue other careers, especially if it is truly their passion. But being in business myself has exposed me to the plight of a businesswoman. Therefore, I’m focusing my advocacy to helping women rise above the challenges and succeed.

Gender discrimination is everywhere but is most apparent in the business world. The lady boss is the exemption, not the norm. And trust me, that lady has to fight her way up. If a guy entrepreneur is struggling, it is doubly harder for her. I’ve experienced cold stares, unimpressed receptionists, dismissive partners, unreturned calls, and dropped deals – just because I’m a woman.

I have felt as if men are ganging up on me. They share this brotherhood that I cannot join. They conduct business deals and meetings in places I cannot be. They develop camaraderie in a way a woman cannot do. I’m always left outside the door. Just because I’m a woman.

“A WOMAN IS THE FULL CIRCLE. WITHIN HER IS THE POWER TO CREATE, NURTURE AND TRANSFORM.”

Women's empowerment is defined as supporting a woman's sense of self-worth, ability to make her own decisions, and right to influence societal change for herself and others.

Savings and Financial Literacy

"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest"
- Benjamin Franklin

Savings and Financial Literacy is a significant topic yet is hardly talked about. According to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BNP), 41% of Filipinos can only answer one of three financial literacy questions while 2% of Filipinos adult can correctly answer regarding the financial questions, on the other hand, Philippines Gross Savings account rate is at 6.1% as of September 2021. This is because the lack of Savings and Financial Literacy, when most people common knowledge about money is when you get it, spend it. But this is not the cash flow that "Robert Kiyosaki" recommends. A famous entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki said that this cash flow is what makes the poor, poorer.

There are a lot of people that became a millionaire and ended up back where they were first. Needless to say, a one time millionaire. This is to prove that money is not the solution for being poor, it is the Financial Literacy or being Financial Literate.

AIDS is the late stage of HIV infection that occurs when the body’s immune system is badly damaged because of the virus.

In the U.S., most people with HIV do not develop AIDS because taking HIV medicine every day as prescribed stops the progression of the disease.

"ADVOCACY ABOUT WOMEN EMPOWERMENT"

Women's empowerment (or female empowerment) is the process of empowering women. It may be defined in several ways, including accepting women's viewpoints or making an effort to seek them, raising the status of women through education, awareness, literacy, and training. Women's empowerment equips and allows women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society. They may have the opportunity to redefine gender roles or other such roles, which in turn may allow them more freedom to pursue desired goals.

Advocating to advance human rights is very natural for human rights defenders. Advocating jointly sends a message of increased strength and underpins the credibility of each individual human rights defender. Through advocacy, human rights defenders also gain access to national and international decision-makers.
