On September 9, 2023, the Community Affairs Development Section of Catbalogan City Police Station in coordination with the Samar College-College of Criminal Justice Education headed Mr. Joseph Roque A. Pensotes Jr. conducted a Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Symposium to the 4th year Criminology Intern students of Samar College at Samar College Auditorium.

The symposium gives an insight about the importance and purpose of life by Pastor Sean and followed by an informational talked about the campaign against the use of illegal drugs as stated in R.A. 9165 "Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act 2002" by PSsg Jestoni D. Gonzaga.

Samar College Interns prevail their first reveille as part of their internship program to ensure that they are mentally and physically fit for the upcoming activities.

🌿 Huge congratulations to the Samar College Criminology ROTC unit for their commendable participation in "Wow for Antiao"! 🌏 This rehabilitation, restoration, and sustainability project, spearheaded by the Catbalogan local government, showcases the importance of preserving our environment. The cleanup drive is a testament to community collaboration and dedication.
