🎉 The Catbalogan VIII District successfully celebrated its District Pagdayaw 2025 with the theme “Pagkaurusa ngan Paglipay.” The event was led by Dr. Imelda M. Uy, PSDS, together with the dedicated school heads. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Carmela R. Tamayo for gracing the celebration, and to the ever-supportive stakeholders, especially the 7th Cavalry “Masasarigan.”

As the Christmas season draws near, the district shares its gratitude and joy, wishing everyone a peaceful, meaningful, and hope-filled celebration. 🎄✨

Silanga ES proudly stood out during the District Pagdayaw 2025 held on December 3, earning remarkable achievements that reflected the unity, dedication, and strong spirit of the whole school community. Guided by the steady leadership of School Principal Ma. Diana L. Pomida.

Heartfelt appreciation is also extended to PSDS Dr. Imelda M. Uy for her leadership and inspiration, and to Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Carmela R. Tamayo for her presence and continued support to all district initiatives. Their guidance played a meaningful role in the success of the celebration.

Silanga ES likewise excelled in the school presentations, bringing home the First Place, Most Participative Group, and Most Creative Group. These awards serve as a testament to the hard work of the teachers, and the unwavering support of the entire Silanga ES family. 🌟👏

Day 2 – Morning Activities

🔥 SCOUTING LECTURES & SKILLS TRAINING 🔥

Our scouts kicked off the morning with interactive lectures and hands-on skill-building activities that strengthened teamwork, preparedness, and leadership.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our invited resource speakers:
• Sir Roel Kervin L. Bayani and Ma’am Hannah Grace A. Ponay from the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, who shared vital lessons on Basic First Aid Training.
• Hon. Eric D. Basal, who delivered an insightful talk on the National Drug Education Program, guiding our scouts toward awareness and responsible choices.

This meaningful session was made possible under the leadership of our School Principal, Engr. Ma. Diana L. Pomida.
