Guinsorongan Nhs actively participated in the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 spearheaded by the Guinsorongan National High School - DRRM headed by ma'am Antoinette Napoles and Sir Jovel P. Brazil SDRRM- Coordinator. The drill was conducted to strengthen preparedness, awareness, and resilience among students, teachers and staff in the event of a major earthquake.

At the sound of the alarm, everyone executed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by a safe and orderly evacuation toward designated open areas. Emergency response teams facilitated the flow of evacuation, accounted for participants, and simulated first aid and rescue operations.

The activity highlighted the importance of disaster readiness and instilled discipline in following safety protocols, ensuring that the school community is better prepared to respond effectively during real emergencies.

Hail to our inhouse responders, Grade 12 Caregiving headed by ma'am April Trixy T. Llacer, Grade 12 EPAS students acted as victims, Student-Led Team and Guinsorongan Nhs Ssg Officers facilitated smooth evacuation drill.
