Today, the PICE–UEP Student Chapter proudly joins the nationwide celebration of the enduring legacy of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. — now marking 88 years of heritage, excellence, and service to the civil engineering profession.

From its beginnings in the late 1920s with the formation of the Philippine Society of Civil Engineers (PSCE), followed by the establishment of the Philippine Association of Civil Engineers (PACE) in 1937, and culminating in the unification that established PICE on December 11, 1973, the Institute has remained steadfast in advancing the profession and contributing to nation-building.

Guided by its enduring pillars — professionalism, integrity, leadership, excellence, and social responsibility — PICE continues to pave the way for a future defined by growth, innovation, and purpose. Truly, a step closer to realizing the Preferred Future envisioned for generations of civil engineers.

An astonishing milestone for Civil Engineering, cheers to the 88th Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. Founding Anniversary!!

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞—𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐬.

Congratulations to our newly registered Civil Engineers from the University of Eastern Philippines – Main Campus who passed the November 2025 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE)

In the performance results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the College of Engineering recorded an overall passing rate of 29.27%, with:
• 30.77% passing rate for first-time takers
• 28.57% passing rate for retakers

Nationwide, the CELE recorded a 30.39% national passing rate, placing the college closely within the national performance scale.

The November 2025 CELE was held last November 22–23, 2025 across multiple testing centers nationwide, gathering thousands of aspiring engineers determined to take the next step in their professional journey.

To our passers—your resilience, discipline, and unyielding dedication have led you to this milestone. May you continue to uphold excellence and integrity as you step into the responsibility of shaping safer, stronger communities.

And to those who took the exam but did not make it this cycle: remember that every setback strengthens your foundation. Your journey does not end here—your RCE moment will come.

Continuing its mission to promote leadership, integrity, and academic distinction, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – University of Eastern Philippines Student Chapter (PICE–UEP SC) has formally enacted two (2) resolutions for the month of November 2025.

These new measures highlight the organization’s dedication to recognizing student excellence, strengthening its executive structure, and sustaining an efficient and empowered student body within the Civil Engineering community.

The approved resolutions are as follows:

• A Resolution Allowing the Nomination of Ms. Ashley Joy G. Bernabe for the Most Outstanding Civil Engineering Student (MOCES) 2025 Award

• A Resolution Signing Ms. Jammy Kate G. Olitan as Assistant Secretary and Mr. Grant B. Luceno as Documentation and Publication Head

Through the passage of these resolutions, PICE–UEP SC reaffirms its unwavering commitment to academic merit, organizational growth, and student leadership.

With purpose and unity, the chapter continues to uplift the next generation of civil engineers—anchored in service, professionalism, and excellence.
