The College of Engineering Student Council stands in solidarity with UEP Balangaw in condemning the recent post that contained discriminatory and violent rhetoric against the LGBTQIA+ community.
We reaffirm that our university must remain a space grounded in respect, dignity, and inclusion. There is no justification for hate, discrimination, or any form of violence directed toward any individual or community.
We strongly support calls to review and strengthen university policies that ensure the protection and safety of all students, regardless of gender identity or expression.
