From the Administrators, Teaching, and Non-teaching Personnel, may this Christmas, centered on Jesus, bring you not only gifts but also joy and hope.
24/12/2025
This Christmas, may we reflect on the first Christmasโwhen, despite uncertainty and hardship, Joseph and Mary found a place for Jesus to be born. In the same way, may we find room in our hearts and lives for Christ to dwell, even amid lifeโs challenges.
Wishing you and your loved ones a truly blessed and peaceful Christmas.

The SMA Personnel Christmas Party was held on December 19, 2025, at the Mo. Francisca Hall, bringing together staff and personnel for an evening filled with excitement, surprises, and shared joy. The annual gathering was not only a festive celebration but also a meaningful reminder of the true essence of Christmas.
The venue came alive with laughter as participants enjoyed delicious food, exchanged gifts, played games, and shared moments of fun that created lasting memories among colleagues. Beyond the lively festivities, the celebration emphasized the real joy of ChristmasโJesus Christโhighlighting faith as the heart and center of the season.
More than a celebration, the event reflected the deeper meaning of Christmas as a time for giving and hoping. Through simple acts of generosity and warm fellowship, the SMA Personnel were reminded once more that Christmas is not merely about receiving gifts, but about sharing joy, strengthening relationships, and renewing hope together.

For decades, Pamaskong Handog has been a cherished SMA tradition during the season of giving, bringing hope and Christmas cheer to our brothers and sisters in Catarman and parts of Northern Samar.
Through this initiative, nearly 700 individuals received food packs containing 5 kilos of rice, 6 assorted canned goods, 10 packs of noodles, 6 packs of Bear Brand Swak, 6 sachets of coffee, and 2 packs of 10 biscuits.
The success of this project was made possible by the wholehearted generosity and unwavering support of our parents, together with their students, who selflessly shared their resources to make this endeavor possible.

On this Fourth Sunday of Advent, our journey of waiting reaches its most intimate moment. Having reflected on hope, peace, and joy, we now turn our hearts to LOVEโa love that comes quietly and gently. It is not imposed or dramatic, but revealed through humility, trust, and the willingness to give oneself. As Christmas draws near, we are invited to recognize that this kind of love often unfolds in silence, in the hidden spaces of everyday life.
The Gospel presents Joseph as a model of such love. When God speaks to him in a dream, Joseph responds not with questions or demands for certainty, but with trust and obedience. He takes Mary into his home and accepts the child as his own, embracing a future he did not plan and cannot fully understand. Josephโs love is not spoken, but lived. It is a love that listens attentively to God, trusts even in uncertainty, and remains steadfast when the path is difficult.
On this Fourth Sunday of Advent, Joseph teaches us that true love is courageous and faithful. It overcomes fear and chooses to stay. As we prepare to welcome Emmanuel, may we open our lives to this same loveโallowing Godโs presence to be made visible through our quiet acts of faith, our generosity, and our willingness to trust Godโs plan unfolding within us.

Today, in the middle of Advent, the Church invites us to rejoice. Gaudete means โRejoice,โ reminding us that waiting for Jesus is not meant to be gloomy or hopeless. The rose candle tells us that joy belongs even in the season of waitingโbecause God is near.
True joy does not come from a perfect life. It comes from trusting that God is with us and at work, even when things are difficult. This joy is deeper than happiness; it is the confidence that light is stronger than darkness.
We grow in this joy when we choose kindness over selfishness, generosity over greed, and honesty over taking the easy way out. Preparing for Jesus means letting our actions reflect what we believe.
Gaudete Sunday calls us to choose joy as an act of faith: speak encouragement instead of complaining, help someone in need, let go of one fear or habit that steals your peace, and make time each day to pray.
Do not let waiting steal your joy. Like John the Baptist, keep pointing to Christ, even when the path is unclear.
Rejoiceโthe Savior is already among us.
