Guided by faith and united in purpose, the College of Engineering community conducted a solemn Visita Iglesia on February 6, 2026, offering prayers and intentions for the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘) 2026 takers of the University of Eastern Philippines.

The prayer pilgrimage brought us to the following sacred churches:
• St. John the Baptist Parish, Pambujan
• Saint Roche the Healer Parish, San Roque
• St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Mondragon
• St. Clare Monastery, Makiwalo
• University Chaplaincy of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, UEP
• Diocesan Shrine of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, Cawayan
• Our Lady of the Annunciation Cathedral Parish, Catarman

This meaningful activity was joined by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Rem N. Laodeño; the Mechanical Engineering Department Chair, Engr. Mary Fortune Daisy O. Espiña; the Adviser of JPSME–UEP Chapter, Engr. Michelle M. Gallega; and Mechanical Engineering faculty member, Engr. Jonathan Abella. The Visita Iglesia was led by the officers of JPSME–UEP Chapter, under the leadership of the President, Ms. Stephanie A. Balanquit, together with fellow Mechanical Engineering students.

As the MELE 2026 approaches, we lift our prayers for wisdom, strength, and success for the UEP examinees—entrusting their journey to faith, dedication, and divine guidance.
