𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || Mr. Ilich L. Estribo, a graduate from the College of Education Majors in English (CoEdME) delivered the second session titled “In Hindsight: The Uncertainties of my Board Exam Journey” today, December 4, at the UEP Gymnatorium.

In his talk, Mr. Estribo shared his personal experience about preparing for the Licensure Examination for Teachers. Emphasizing his valuable insights from his experiences together with his tips and methods will serve as a roadmap in preparing for life after graduation and preparing for the Licensure Examination for Teachers, quoting: “I’m here for a particular purpose, as a forecast for your life, your future, what your life would be after graduating from college.”

He engages with the audience with an interactive short quiz, entertaining with light hearted jokes situations that the audience relate to, further enriching the dialogue.

Mr. Estribo highlighted that the examination is not a test of intelligence but character, quoting: “The goal is not just to pass, but be a distinguished educator that is ready to face the challenges as an educator in the 21st century era."

As the session came to a close, he reminded everyone that despite the pressure and struggles in life, one should always be gentle with themselves, quoting: “give yourself a tap on the back and always prioritize your well being. Don't pressure yourself too much about those things. Kung para sayo, para sayo, and nothing can stop you from getting that particular achievement.”

He concluded the session with a powerful motivational reminder: “You're here for a reason. There is a reason why you're here this morning and may this reason accumulate to all of you reaching your dreams and attaining your goals from the College of Education.” ¶
