Qualified applicants for the BSEd-English Program are requested to submit their admission requirements placed in one (1) long brown envelope and ensure that all requirements are complete before submission.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their requirements within the given schedule to facilitate proper processing and verification.

The College of Education English Major Program hereby informs the applicants listed below (Batch 5) that the Entrance Examination for the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Major in English will be conducted on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

All applicants whose names appear on the official list are required to take the examination. The examination will cover four areas: Grammar, Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Interview.

Examinees are advised to report to ED2 (English Room), First Floor, College of Education Building, at least twenty (20) minutes before the scheduled examination. Applicants are also requested to bring a blue ballpen.

The Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English has long been a home of excellence. Throughout the years, the program has consistently earned recognition in institutional and national competitions, bringing pride and honor to both the University and the discipline. It is further distinguished by its consecutive 100% passing rate in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

Qualified applicants for the BSEd-English Program are requested to submit their admission requirements placed in two (2) long brown envelopes containing the original and photocopied documents. Kindly ensure that all requirements are complete before submission.

Applicants are encouraged to submit their requirements within the given schedule to facilitate proper processing and verification.

The Qualifying Examination is administered by the Department in accordance with the policies and standards established by its faculty members. The results of the examination, as determined by the Qualifying Examination Committee, shall be deemed final. Moreover, the Discipline may, at its discretion, admit additional qualified students to the program in reasonable circumstances, subject to reasonable justification and in accordance with policies and academic standards and considerations. Students who are on probationary status must see the Department Chair for further announcements.

This is a final reminder for the applicants included in Batch 5 of the BSEd English Entrance Examination. The examination will be conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at ED2 (English Room), First Floor, College of Education Building.

All applicants whose names appear on the official list are expected to take the examination within the given schedule. The examination will cover four areas: Grammar, Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Interview.

Examinees are advised to arrive at least twenty (20) minutes before their scheduled time and are reminded to bring a blue ballpen.

Please be informed that this will serve as the final schedule for Batch 5. Applicants who are unable to take the examination within this schedule may no longer be accommodated.
