22 AUGUST 2026 โ€” The Eastern Visayas Central Colleges Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted its 5th Training Week for S.Y. 2026-2027.

The training commenced at 0700H with a formation at 801st CDC, Camp Sumuroy, Brgy. Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar, where ROTC officers organized their respective platoons for attendance check, which was completed by 0740H.

At 0800H, the cadets proceeded to the 803rd Infantry Brigade Grandstand for Drills and Ceremonies. The activity focused on proper ex*****on of facing movements, marching, and military bearing, led by the ROTC officers under the supervision of ๐‚/๐‹๐“๐‚ ๐‹๐ž๐จ๐ ๐ž๐ฆ ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ ๐Ÿ๐‚๐‹, Corps Commander, together with the Tactical NCOs and the Graduate Military Assistants (GMA).

Following the drills, the cadets proceeded to the Multi-Purpose Hall for a lecture on ๐–๐ž๐š๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ conducted by ๐Œ๐’๐  ๐๐จ๐ž๐ฅ ๐’ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐š๐š๐ฅ (๐ˆ๐ง๐Ÿ) ๐๐€, ๐€๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง ๐๐‚๐Ž. The lecture covered the basic nomenclature, characteristics, proper handling, and safety measures of service weapons, enhancing the cadets' knowledge and proficiency as future reservists.

At exactly 1200H, the training was officially concluded, marking another productive week of honing discipline, leadership, and military competence among EVCC ROTC cadets.

The training commenced at 0700H with a formation at 801st CDC, Camp Sumuroy, Brgy. Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar, where ROTC officers organized their respective platoons for attendance check, which was completed by 0740H.

Following the attendance, the cadets were addressed by the CDC Director regarding the upcoming Blood Donation Activity, emphasizing its importance and the spirit of volunteerism and community service.

Afterwards, the training was divided into two groups. Cadets who did not participate in the blood donation proceeded to the 803rd Infantry Brigade Grandstand for Drills and Ceremonies, focusing on proper ex*****on of facing movements, marching, and military bearing, led by ROTC officers under the supervision of ๐‚/๐‹๐“๐‚ ๐‹๐ž๐จ๐ ๐ž๐ฆ ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ ๐Ÿ๐‚๐‹, Corps Commander, together with other Advance Officer.

Meanwhile, cadets who volunteered and participated in the blood donation proceeded to the Brigade Gym, the official venue for the said activity.

08 AUGUST 2026 โ€” The Eastern Visayas Central Colleges Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully conducted a Clean-up Drive Activity within the EVCC premises and its surrounding areas.

The activity commenced at 0700H with a formation outside the Eastern Visayas Central Colleges (EVCC) campus. ROTC officers organized their respective platoons for count off and accounting of cadets, followed by the dissemination of instructions and designation of cleaning areas.

Subsequently, the cadets were deployed to their respective designated areas to conduct intensive cleaning, waste segregation, and clearing operations. The activity showcased the cadets' discipline, teamwork, and sense of responsibility in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the campus community.

The Clean-up Drive successfully concluded with all designated areas thoroughly cleaned, fostering camaraderie and environmental awareness among EVCC ROTC cadets.
