JCI Bags to School Program in partnership with UEP - Office of the Director of LoGo-TRI and Boks Place in Cabacungan Elementary School.
Two years since the pandemic hit the country, the government had finally consider re-opening of face to face classes comes January, 2022.
The Junior Chamber International Philippines in support of the UNSDG No. 4 - Quality Education, is implementing Bags to School Project which aims in reducing inequalities in education among children in the country.
29 grade 3 pupils of Cabacungan Elementary School, Allen, Northern Samar recieved early Christmas gifts from Catarman Cocoking Jaycees headed by LO President Anthony Jay B. Estremera, UEP-LoGoTRI headed by Director Joy E. Presado, and Boks Place with Crmgst. Ian Jay Sabangan, proprietor, last December 22, 2021.
The event was spearheaded by LoGoTRI Director and LO Secretary Joy E. Presado, an alumnus of the said school, in coordination with the Grade 3 Class Adviser Ms. Gerlie Casaljay.
The event started at 9:00 o'clock in the morning with an opening prayer by BOD Noel Santos, followed by the messages of Ms. Gerlie Casaljay and Dr. Joy Presado. Thereafter, the schools supplies and snacks were distributed to the 29 pupils.
In the end, children shouted for joy and gratitude for the early Christmas gifts they truly deserved. After all, it is not all about the amount of the gifts, but the hope and love shared this season. ❤️
