Despite the rainy weather, the Homemakers Club of St. Nicholas Academy of Castillejos, Inc. successfully held its Cook-Off Contest and Outreach Program on September 8, 2026, bringing together teachers, students, and parents in a meaningful celebration of culinary skills, teamwork, generosity, and service.
Guided by the theme โCooking with Skills, Serving with Love,โ participants showcased their creativity and cooking skills as they prepared dishes not only for the competition, but also to share their creations with chosen indigent families as recipients of the outreach program. The activity also included the distribution of grocery packages and other thoughtful gifts, turning every dish prepared into an opportunity to serve, share, and bring hope to families in need.
Our warmest appreciation goes to our distinguished Cook-Off Contest JudgesโSir Marcelo Luna, Maโam Cristina Baguio, and Sir Vernon John Quiochoโfor generously sharing their time and expertise in making the competition meaningful and exciting.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors and supportersโMs. Efrel Even V. Garcia, Mr. Marcelino Dominguez, Ms. Grace Antolin Ebreo, Mr. William George Gapo, the SNACI Students, and the Homemakers Club Officersโwhose kindness and generosity helped make this outreach initiative possible. Your support brought added joy and blessings to the chosen indigent families who received the outreach packages and gifts.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to Mayor Jeffrey D. Khonghun for generously lending tables and chairs for the activity. Your support greatly contributed to the successful and orderly conduct of this meaningful event.
We are equally grateful to the School Administration for its continued support and encouragement, which helped make this meaningful celebration possible.
A special thank-you goes to Sir John Ramer Inocencio, who joined Maโam Alyssa in hosting the event and helped keep the program lively, engaging, and well-organized.
We also extend our appreciation to the Performing Arts Club for their wonderful participation and entertaining intermission number, which added energy and joy to the celebration. Your talents helped make the event even more memorable for everyone.
This celebration was made possible through the dedicated leadership of the Homemakers Club AdvisersโMaโam Chris-Lyn S. Froma, Maโam Jenny M. Mamucud, and Maโam Alyssa Fadinoโtogether with everyone who participated, volunteered, supported, and shared their time and resources.
When skills are shared with love, every meal becomes a blessing. โค๏ธ
