๐ŸŽ‰ A FIRST FOR CASTILLA COLLEGES: JOINING THE GRAND PANTOMINA

CASTILLA COLLEGES marked a significant milestone as it participated for the first time in the Grand Pantomina, one of the highlights of the 18th UNOD Festival 2026 in Castilla, Sorsogon.

Headed by Dr. Jovert M. Ofracio, College Administrator, the Castilla Colleges community proudly joined the cultural celebration, bringing together students and personnel in a vibrant display of unity, enthusiasm, and appreciation for local culture and tradition.

The Pantomina dancers were trained and prepared under the guidance of Mr. Celenio G. Fajardo III, whose dedication and mentorship helped prepare the participants for their first-ever Grand Pantomina appearance.

The participation was also made meaningful through the support of Hon. Mayor B**g Mendoza, whose encouragement contributed to the involvement of Castilla Colleges in this significant community celebration.

The Castilla Colleges Student Council (CCSC), together with other personnel and students, also showed their strong support for the participants, helping create an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie throughout the activity.

This historic first participation reflects Castilla Collegesโ€™ continuing commitment to cultural appreciation, community engagement, and holistic student developmentโ€”recognizing that education extends beyond the classroom and into meaningful experiences that strengthen identity and community.

A first participation. A shared celebration. A stronger Castilla Colleges community.

Mental Health Awareness Month | October 2026

This October, Castilla Colleges joins the observance of Mental Health Awareness Month with a reminder that mental health is an essential part of our overall well-being.

Taking care of your mental health is not a sign of weakness. It is an act of self-awareness, courage, and responsibility. Give yourself permission to rest, speak up, seek support, and take things one day at a time.

Let us create a campus where listening comes before judging, compassion comes before assumptions, and seeking help is always okay.

If you are struggling, you do not have to face it alone. The Guidance Office is here to listen, support, and help you find the appropriate assistance.

Your feelings matter. Your well-being matters. You matter.
