Happy National Science Club Month!

The Sci-Tech Club and the Researchers Club of Carrascal National High School participated in the two-day NSCM Summit at Jacinto P. Elpa National High School on September 26-27, 2026.

This is an annual regional event spearheaded by the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC). It allows students to experience meaningful and engaging learning activities like interactive workshops, engineering competitions and team building activities. This year, the school was able to send 110 students from the STE and STEM program.

The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to the stakeholders who helped in making this summit participation possible. We would like to thank the Local Government Unit of Carrascal, headed by Mayor Joseph Urgel, the CTP CMC through the ComRel Office, and the BLGU of Gamuton, headed by Hon. Carmelita Correos, for providing us transportation to and fro the venue.

We also express our gratitude to the parents who gave their trust and support for the activity, and to the teachers who guided the participants throughout the event.

May the spirit of active Science clubbing continue to work among the STEM learners!

CNHS STEM Educational Mine Tour
August 8 | CTPCMC Mine Site

The Grade 12 STEM students participated in an Educational Mine Tour conducted by the CTPCMC through its Mine Operation Office and Mine Environment Protection and Enhancement Office.

The tour was designed to help our STEM learners understand how mining operations work in an actual industry setting. The learners gained deeper appreciation of the different processes involved in mining, as well as measures undertaken by the industry to promote environmental protection, rehabilitation, resource management, and sustainability. The experience also served as an opportunity for our learners to develop relevant research questions for their STEM Research Projects.

Carrascal National High School expresses its sincere appreciation to CTP Construction and Mining Corporation for accommodating our learners and providing them with an opportunity to learn directly from an actual mining environment. We also extend our gratitude to the Health and Safety personnel who made sure that our learners experience a safe, orderly, and productive educational tour.

This initiative reflects the school's commitment to learning beyond the classroom, strengthening STEM Research, and building deeper connection between the school and community.

Disclaimer: Prior to the conduct of this tour, the school was able to secure parental consent for the learner's participation. The activity was also conducted outside the instructional period.

Subay kini sa pamalaod nan Department of Education nga mao ang DO. 006, s. 2026 o Guidelines in Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment.

Tungod nan ini, giawhag an tanan sa pagsubay sa mga musunod nga Safety Measures:

1. Ang mga estudyante adto na muage sa Gate 2, Gamuton Side. Ang mga school personnel lamang ang pwede makaagi sa Gate 1, dapit sa National Highway.

2. Ang tanan estudyante, school personnel ug mga bisita kinahanglan muage sa bag inspection. Ang mga bisita usab kinahanglan magpakita sa ilang Valid ID adesir makasulod sa eskwelahan.

3. Ginabawal ang pagdala sa mga butang nga mahait, makahilo o uban pa nga pwede makapanakit sa tawo. Ginadili usab ang pagsulod sa mga makabayong nga imnonon, sigarilyo o v**e, illegal nga droga, ug uban pa nga gamit pagpanugal.

4. Ginadili na sa mga estudyante ang pagsulod sa mga motorsiklo ug uban pang sakyanan sa ilayom sa eskwelahan.

Gipanghinaut nga ang tanan musunod sa maong mga pamalaod nan eskwelahan para masiguro nga hapsay ang pagkat-on nan mga estudyante.

Orientation on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum

The school successfully conducted the Orientation on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum for incoming Grade 11 students and their parents, aimed at providing clear and relevant information about the program.

The orientation highlighted the key features of the strengthened curriculum, with emphasis on the transition to the Academic and Technical Professional (TechPro) tracks, the streamlined core subjects, and the introduction of flexible elective clusters. It also underscored the importance of understanding these program updates to guide students and parents in making informed educational decisions that best support learners’ future goals and exit plans.

The activity further served as a venue for open communication and guidance, strengthening the partnership between the school and stakeholders in supporting learner success.

As a learning community, the school remains committed to providing quality, relevant, and future-ready education that prepares every learner for higher education, employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
