The school offers not only elementary studies but also secondary. BRIEF HISTORY OF BUNGA INTEGRATED SCHOOL - HIGH SCHOOL
Bunga Integrated School started operating as a Primary School (Bunga Elementary School) in the year 1965. American soldiers who were stranded in Carranglan were considered as the first teachers. They built cogon and sawali that served as the classrooms. When the World War II has
ended they were replaced by Filipino teachers in 1942. Along with the increase of the population of the Barangay is the rise in number of students. The value or merit given to the significance of education served as the motivation for the Bunga community to put up a Secondary School headed by the School Principal back then, Mr. Macaranas with the help of the Faculty and Staff and elected Barangay Officials. With the joint resolution filed with the concern and assistance of the Barangay Officials, the resolution was been approved. The Elementary School was extended and started offering a Secondary School which was established in the year 2008. Since then, the name of the school was been changed to Bunga Integrated School. The Secondary School started operating only with two (2) Permanent Teachers namely: Christy D. Eugenio, Marvin Moreno and one (1) PLSB teacher who was Ruby Diaz with a total of 165 students from First year to Third year. The first batch of students who graduate was on the year 2012 and along with it is the beginning of the K to 12 Curriculum. The opening of the Secondary School in the barangay gives opportunity to encourage young people to continue and finish their secondary education and lessen their burden of going to other nearby Secondary Schools which is 4 to 5 kilometers away from the District Office and the town proper. Additional classrooms were also built and hired additional teachers. There were many trials and challenges surpassed before the school finally achieved its success. Macaranas, was replaced by Mr Wilson M. Bier followed by Mrs Dalisay B. Caya consecutively. Maglaque was appointed as OfficerโIn-Charge (2015-2016) in the Secondary Department and was been followed by Mr Oliver C. Saydoken the first installed School Head Teacher of Bunga Integrated School-Secondary Department from September 2016 to January 2020.
