Confirm your slot. Failure to proceed within the prescribed period will result in the forfeiture of the allotted slot. Cavite State University (CvSU)–Carmona Campus formally conducted the 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗤𝗠𝗦) on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The institutional activity was designed to strengthen quality assurance mechanisms and evaluate the campus’s preparedness for broader compliance, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. It likewise reaffirmed the University’s commitment to excellence, accountability, and sustained quality-driven governance.

The opening program highlighted the importance of collaboration and readiness as key pillars of quality management implementation. In her welcome remarks, Dr. Jenny Beb F. Espineli, campus administrator, strongly emphasized the importance of readiness, collaboration, and shared responsibility in advancing the campus QMS. She underscored that quality assurance is not confined to a single office but is a collective endeavor requiring active participation from all units to sustain and elevate institutional excellence.

The program proceeded with the introduction of campus officials led by Mr. Robert Jan R. Bayan, quality assurance and accreditation coordinator/planning officer, who formally acknowledged the participants and emphasized their essential roles in the assessment process. This was followed by the introduction of the audit team and an overview of the readiness assessment delivered by Dr. Mary Jane D. Tepora, Vice President for Planning and Development and designated audit team leader. She provided a comprehensive orientation on the objectives, scope, and methodology of the assessment, highlighting its critical role in determining institutional readiness for QMS expansion.

The audit team was composed of the following members with their respective assigned areas of responsibility:

• Dr. Willie C. Buclatin – Academics
• Dr. Agnes C. Francisco – Research, Extension, and Knowledge Management
• Ms. Maria Czarina Sioco – Support Services

• Mr. Richard E. Pinpin – Secretariat

The audit proper was subsequently conducted, focusing on a thorough evaluation of documentation systems, operational efficiency, process implementation, and compliance with QMS standards. The assessment generated significant insights that serve as a foundation for institutional strengthening, process enhancement, and continuous improvement.

The activity concluded with a closing meeting where the audit team presented their initial consolidated feedback, identifying institutional strengths as well as areas requiring further development. In response, Dr. Espineli delivered a message of commitment, affirming the campus’ readiness to act on the recommendations and sustain quality-driven initiatives in support of QMS expansion.

Overall, the activity reaffirmed CvSU–Carmona Campus’s unwavering pursuit of excellence, guided by the principles of 𝗜𝗦𝗢 — 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Cavite State University (CvSU)–Carmona Campus proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its student researchers during the University Student Research Symposium held on May 25–26, 2026.

Representing the campus across paper presentations, poster presentations, and the Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, CvSU-Carmona delegates showcased innovative and impactful research outputs addressing challenges in education, technology, industry, agriculture, and community development.

𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨)–𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 and the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 successfully conducted the Ceremonial Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, marking a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration between academe and local government.

The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation in faculty immersion programs, student internships and employment opportunities, the joint organization of seminars and training activities, collaborative research initiatives, networking engagements, and other academic and government-related undertakings designed to promote innovation, capacity building, and community development.

The ceremonial signing brought together key officials from both institutions. On behalf of CvSU were 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗔𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗣. 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼, University President; 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗠. 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼, Vice President for Academic Affairs; 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗣. 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮, director of the International and Local Collaborations and Linkages Office; and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, campus administrator of CvSU–Carmona Campus. The City Government of Carmona was represented by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗔. 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗼𝗹𝗮, city mayor, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗚. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮, city information technology officer. They were joined by other officials and representatives from both institutions.

This partnership reinforces the shared commitment of the University and the City Government to advancing academic excellence, workforce readiness, and local development through initiatives aligned with the “𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲, 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗖)” Initiative.

The final day of FutuREs Thinking Week 2026 concluded with the ThinkTalk session and closing activities, highlighting major milestones in innovation, research, and intellectual property development. As the partner campus for the event, Cavite State University (CvSU)-Carmona actively participated throughout the program, reinforcing its commitment to advancing research, innovation, and collaborative development.

A key highlight of the culminating activities was the 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, where faculty innovators and development teams presented their outputs.

𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘇 presented 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲, which gained notable attention for opening a 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴y, highlighting its strong potential for further development and national-level support. Beyond the pitching segment, several recognitions were also conferred.

𝗖𝘃𝗦𝗨-𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 was likewise recognized for its strong research performance, being among the 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 of the University, as well as for its 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

The campus was further commended for its filed patents in 2025, including the invention “𝗔 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶-𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴,” developed by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗔. 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘀, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗙. 𝗖𝗮𝗼, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗝𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗥. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗝. 𝗧𝗮𝗲𝘇𝗮 under the supervision of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗥. 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹 and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗣. 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗮.

CvSU-Carmona was also acknowledged for its active participation as an 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁, with 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹 and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗮 serving as the closing-day exhibitors.

Finally, the program was formally concluded through the closing remarks of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, campus administrator, who emphasized the campus’ continued commitment to innovation, research excellence, and intellectual property development.

The closing program ultimately underscored CvSU Carmona’s continued excellence in innovation, research dissemination, and intellectual property generation, in line with the goals of FutuREs Thinking Week 2026.
