In this new chapter of our lives, let's not forget to always be prepared for everything that might happen, specifically disasters that cannot be prevented such as earthquakes.

Always remember the DUCK, COVER, and HOLD strategy whenever we feel that an earthquake strikes. DUCK or drop down to the floor, take or seek COVER under something that can protect your head, and HOLD the position until it is safe to move. Stay and try to be CALM during these events because panic can lead to something worse. These tips may save your lives so always keep them in your mind and share them with your friends.

Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Angelo Levardo Loyola Senior High School conducted an event about Conduct of Skills Training in First Aid and Basic Life Support Systems. This enables the participants to learn and receive skills training for first aid and basic life support. With the cooperation of different school's organization, teachers and fellow students the event was successfully accomplished.

Moreover, the event not only discussed all about First Aid. Some basic knowledge and response about Disaster Management were also discussed. It ensures that all students and participants are ready and prepared before, during, and after disasters. Different Preparation, Mitigation, Response and Recovery techniques was taught for Disasters.

INFORMATION DISSEMINATION📣❗

Last November 10, 2022, Angelo Levardo Loyola Senior Highschool conducted the "Golden Five- minute Classroom Information Dissemination Drive" and different club participants joined this event. It is held for the Safety and Security of students for the upcoming Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). Fortunately, some of our group members were active during this event and we get the opportunity to disseminate important informations about evacuation drills, earthquake safety, and earthquake preparedness. Moreover, thanks to the coordination of club oganizations, students and school staff making the event successful and possible.

We are promoting this advocacy for the safety of everyone during times of disaster. Disaster Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery is important for the safety and wellbeing not just yourselves but also our family.
