The Cavite State University – Carmona, through its Research Services Office, successfully conducted the 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 last September 1, 2026, with the theme “𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘: 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.” The event served as a platform for student researchers to showcase their innovative studies and creative outputs, highlighting the university’s commitment to advancing sustainable technology, values-driven research, and academic excellence.

The congress featured distinguished speakers who provided valuable insights into the future of research and innovation. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗚. 𝗦𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗮, Director of Research & Development at Emilio Aguinaldo College – Cavite, delivered a talk on Sustainable Technology and Research for Innovation, Values, and Excellence. Meanwhile, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠. 𝗥𝘂𝗶𝘇, Acting Program Manager at the Center for Futures Thinking and Emerging Technologies of the Development Academy of the Philippines – Graduate School of Public Management, shared his expertise on Sustainable Futures.

Parallel sessions across disciplines showcased outstanding student research in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Education, and Information and Communication Technology. The congress also featured the 3-Minute Thesis competition, where students presented their innovative projects with clarity, creativity, and impact.

𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘁, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝘁. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 𝗠. 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗼𝗹 (ICT); and 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗖. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗟. 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻 (3-MT). Their guidance and constructive feedback were instrumental in shaping the success of the congress.

Special recognition is also given to 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗸 𝗖. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮, Head of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, for his steadfast support, and to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, Campus Administrator, for her leadership and encouragement throughout the congress.

With a strong advocacy for sustainable crop production, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 championed 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗛-𝗨𝗣, an oyster mushroom substrate pasteurization machine, earning 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 among 13 technology pitchers. This innovation underscores the potential of empowering local farmers through efficiency and productivity.

Alongside him, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘇 pitched 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘, a patented portable water analyzer for sustainable water management, while 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗡. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮 presented 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦, a heritage crop-based innovation showcasing the value of sigarilyas (winged bean) in modern food technology.

Together, these faculty innovators proudly carried the banner of CvSU Carmona, proving that our campus is a rising force in research, technology, and farmer-centered advocacy.
