The 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 of 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 proudly congratulates 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗟. 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻 for winning the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟱: 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 during the 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁, held last May 26–29, 2026 at Alta d’ Tagaytay Hotel, Tagaytay City.

Your achievement is a shining testament to CvSU Carmona’s commitment to advancing sustainable research and global academic excellence.

𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧: 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

With a strong advocacy for sustainable crop production, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 championed 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗛-𝗨𝗣, an oyster mushroom substrate pasteurization machine, earning 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 among 13 technology pitchers. This innovation underscores the potential of empowering local farmers through efficiency and productivity.

Alongside him, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘇 pitched 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘, a patented portable water analyzer for sustainable water management, while 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗡. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮 presented 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦, a heritage crop-based innovation showcasing the value of sigarilyas (winged bean) in modern food technology.

Together, these faculty innovators proudly carried the banner of CvSU Carmona, proving that our campus is a rising force in research, technology, and farmer-centered advocacy.

Cavite State University – Carmona, through the 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, successfully carried out the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧: 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁. The webinar gathered business administration student researchers and faculty members in an engaging academic exchange centered on the theme “𝗨𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.”

The highlight of the program was the keynote lecture delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶 𝗧. 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘂𝘇, faculty researcher from the College of Economics, Management, and Development Studies. His talk on ethics in business research emphasized the value of integrity as the bedrock of inclusive and sustainable transformation. Through his insights, participants were reminded that ethical practices are not only essential for academic rigor but also for ensuring that research outcomes remain socially relevant and responsive to community needs.

The event’s success was made possible through the leadership of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻, Campus Research Coordinator, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗕. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗼, Department Chairperson, who spearheaded the activity from preparation to ex*****on. Their dedication, along with the guidance and full support of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, Campus Administrator, ensured that the webinar was carried out smoothly and meaningfully.

The successful conduct of the 2nd BRIGHT reflects CvSU Carmona’s continuing commitment to advancing responsible, inclusive, and high-impact research. By upholding integrity and fostering ethical practices, the university strengthens its role in shaping research that is academically sound, socially transformative, and aligned with sustainable development.

Cavite State University – Carmona, through the 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, proudly marked the successful conduct of the capability enhancement webinar titled “𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵” on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁. The activity gathered faculty members in a half-day program that emphasized the importance of ethical practices and intellectual property management in advancing responsible research and innovation.

The first lecture, delivered by 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗟𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗦. 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼, focused on ethics in research, highlighting the principles of integrity, accountability, and respect that underpin scholarly work. This was followed by the lecture from 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗖. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀, who discussed intellectual property management in the field of industrial and information technology. Her talk underscored the role of intellectual property in protecting innovation and ensuring that research outputs contribute responsibly to industry and society.

Appreciation is extended to 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻, Campus Research Coordinator, and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗚. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇, Chair of the Department of Industrial and Information Technology, for spearheading the event and ensuring its success. Gratitude is also given to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗯 𝗙. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗶, Campus Administrator, for her guidance and full approval of the activity, which provided the assurance of institutional support throughout the program.

The successful conduct of the activity reflects CvSU Carmona’s commitment to fostering a culture of ethical research and innovation. The Campus Research Services Office of Cavite State University – Carmona proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated faculty members who recently completed the rigorous IP EXPEDITE 2026 Technology Commercialization Training-Workshop organized by the CvSU Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management Office. This intensive program prepared them to refine and ready their technologies for pitching, a testament to their commitment to innovation and research excellence.

Representing the campus with pride, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 showcased their technology on sustainable crop production through mushroom pasteurization, while 𝗠𝘀. 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘇 presented their patented innovation in water management through a water analyzer. Equally commendable is the effort of 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗡. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗮, who elevated her team’s technology focused on the production of a heritage crop, sigarilyas. Their perseverance and passion highlight the spirit of academic innovation that defines our institution.
