RESILIENCE AND GRATITUDE: CARMEN CONTINGENT SHINES ONCE MORE

The recent 36th Council Jamboree and 2nd Rover Moot witnessed outstanding performances from various contingents, and one notable achievement was Carmen’s impressive showing in the Scout Palabas Competition. Although they couldn't defend their title as the previous year's champion, securing the 1st runner-up spot is no small feat.

Carmen Contingent's determination and talent were evident throughout the competition. Despite facing stiff competition, they showcased their skills and left a lasting impression on the audience. Their resilience and sportsmanship are truly commendable.

The contingent's success wouldn't have been possible without the tireless efforts of their trainers, Mr. Allan Vasquez, Mr. Romel Bulair, Mr. Jumarie Legaray and Sir Louiel Jay Nguho. Their guidance, support, and dedication have played a significant role in honing the skills of the young scouts.

The Carmen NHS Senior Scouts have once again proven their excellence in scouting, being proclaimed Overall Champions for the 7th time during the 7th Municipal BSP & GSP Joint Camporal held on September 5-7, 2025, at Magsaysay Elementary School, Brgy. Magsaysay, Carmen, Davao del Norte.

The event featured a range of competitions that tested the scouts' skills and teamwork, including: Knot Tying, Compass Relay, Chariot Race, Fire Building by Friction, Flag Pole Raising, Message Relay, Scout Palabas, and Fancy Drill

The Carmen NHS Senior Scouts' 7th championship title is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence. Their consistent performance is an inspiration to other scouting units and a reflection of the school's strong scouting program.
