- Starting August 18, 2026, OLCACI will implement a MORNING CLASS-ONLY SCHEDULE until further notice due to the rising heat index and prevailing weather conditions.

💧 Students are reminded to stay hydrated, take precautions against the heat, remain at home during afternoon home-based learning, and accomplish all assigned tasks on time.

⚠️ The schedule may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, heat index, and directives from the LGU and DepEd.

📢 ADVISORY: CANCELLATION OF CLASSES THIS AFTERNOON

Dear Parents, Guardians, Learners, and School Personnel,

Please be advised that classes at Our Lady of Carmen Academy of Caraga, Inc. are CANCELLED this afternoon, August 13, 2026, until tomorrow, August 14, 2026, following the Municipal Mayor’s Memorandum due to the higher heat index experienced in the municipality.

In line with this advisory, learners are advised to stay at home and continue their lessons through the appropriate Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM), as may be instructed by their teachers.

This measure is being implemented to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of our learners and the entire school community.

Please stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary exposure to extreme heat, and continue learning safely at home. 💙💛

NOW OFFICIALLY IN OPERATION!

The newly installed Helifan at the Our Lady of Carmen Academy of Caraga, Inc. (OLCACI) Gymnasium is now officially in operation as of August 1, 2026, through the initiative of Rev. Fr. Marlon A. Lacal, Ph.D., School Director of OLCACI and Superintendent of the Diocese of Butuan Educational System (DBES).

This significant facility improvement reflects the unwavering generosity, unity, and commitment of the OLCACI community. The Helifan is a joint project of the Alumni Host Batch 2001, Co-Host Batch 1976, and the OLCACI Administration. This collaborative effort has created a more comfortable, safe, and conducive environment for our students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and guests during school activities and events.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Marlon A. Lacal, Ph.D., the Alumni Host Batch 2001, the Co-Host Batch 1976, and the OLCACI Administration for making this meaningful project possible. Your generosity, dedication, and enduring love for our beloved Alma Mater will continue to benefit the entire OLCACI community for many years to come.

(OLCACI) has been granted CERTIFIED STATUS by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) for having satisfactorily met the minimum standards and requirements for the Junior High School Program.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment, dedication, and collaborative efforts of our administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni and stakeholders in pursuing quality Catholic education and academic excellence.
