CNHS-SHS Bids Farewell to Two Dedicated Educators
The Carmen National High School–Senior High School (CNHS-SHS) community expresses its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Ma'am Rose Ann Villanueva and Ma'am Cherry Ann Makilang as they conclude their service at the school and embark on new professional journeys.
Throughout their years of service, both educators have made significant contributions to the school community through their dedication, commitment, and passion for teaching. They have inspired countless students, guided them toward academic and personal growth, and served as exemplary models of professionalism, excellence, and compassion.

CNHS-SHS Strengthens Student Bonds Through Acquaintance Program 2026
CARMEN, Cotabato— To foster friendship, unity, and a sense of belonging among students, Carmen National High School-Senior High School (CNHS-SHS) successfully conducted its Acquaintance Program on June 11, 2026.
The event brought together students, teachers, and school personnel for a day of interaction, entertainment, and community-building activities. It aimed to help students, particularly newcomers, become familiar with their peers and the school environment.
Through various games and performances, participants were encouraged to build meaningful relationships and strengthen school community. Learners actively participated in activities designed to promote camaraderie and collaboration.
The event provided an opportunity for students to connect with one another beyond the classroom, helping create a more welcoming and inclusive school community.
The Acquaintance Program served as a meaningful start to the school year, encouraging students to build lasting friendships and work together toward a productive and meaningful academic journey.

SOLGA 2026: Celebrating Milestones
Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) of Carmen National High School – Senior High School (CNHS-SHS) conducted its State of the Learner's Government Address (SOLGA) on June 11, 2026.
During the event, the CNHS-SHS SSLG officers presented their accomplishments, financial status, and upcoming projects to promote transparency, accountability, and their commitment to the betterment of the school.
Through SOLGA, students were given the opportunity to hear from their elected leaders regarding the organization's initiatives, implemented activities, and the school's rules and regulations.
“To lead is to serve, to serve is to inspire, and to inspire is to create change.” SSLG President MJ Mana-ay opened her speech with these inspiring words, emphasizing the importance of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication in becoming an effective leader. Her message resonated with and inspired many CNHS-SHS students.
As the event concluded, students expressed their gratitude through applause, recognizing the dedication and service demonstrated by their student leaders.

Learning in Motion: CNHS-SHS Conducts Psychosocial Support Activities and Parent-Teacher Conference
A sudden earthquake caused the suspension of the first day of classes. Despite the disruption, Carmen National High School–Senior High School (CNHS-SHS) officially resumed classes on June 09, 2026. Class advisers warmly welcomed and checked on the well-being of their students as they began the new academic year.
Teachers facilitated the psychosocial activities where students shared their thoughts, feelings, and experiences from their vacation. They also continued the previously postponed orientation on school rules, policies, schedules, and curriculum updates. To formally begin the school year, several classrooms conducted elections for their newly elected class officers.
The following day, June 10, 2026, CNHS-SHS held its first Parent-Teacher Conference for School Year 2026–2027. The conference gathered parents, teachers, and students from different strands and sections of the Senior High School department.
Held in individual classrooms and facilitated by class advisers, the conference focused on important matters for the school year. Discussions included the introduction of newly elected class officers, class schedules, the academic calendar for Terms 1, 2, and 3, and the grading system. Parents were also informed about school programs, policies, and academic expectations to better guide and support their children throughout the school year.
The successful conduct of these activities marked a positive and promising start to School Year 2026–2027, strengthening the partnership among students, parents, and teachers.

CNHS-SHS Kicks Off School Year 2026–2027
Carmen National High School–Senior High School (CNHS-SHS) officially opened School Year 2026–2027 through an opening program held at the school’s covered court on June 8, 2026, welcoming students, teachers, and staff to another year of learning and growth.
The ceremony was hosted by Shaleen Grace Cabusao and began with the Entrance of Colors led by members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP). This was followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem by the school chorale.
As part of the program, Rejane Santander delivered the Flag Speech, while Harvey Cabatania led the recitation of the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas. A prayer was also offered, seeking guidance, wisdom, and blessings for the entire school community throughout the academic year.
In his opening message, Sir Roleen B. Moleño, EdD, Assistant Principal for Governance, warmly welcomed the students and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their studies, actively participate in school activities, and take advantage of the opportunities available to them during the school year.
One of the highlights of the program was the introduction of the teachers, faculty, and staff, giving students the opportunity to become acquainted with the individuals who will guide and support them in their academic journey.
The opening ceremony concluded on a positive note, with students, teachers, and school officials expressing enthusiasm and optimism for a productive and successful School Year 2026–2027.

CNHS-SHS Conducts Brigada Eskwela Evaluation
CARMEN, Cotabato Province — Teachers of Carmen National High School–Senior High School (CNHS-SHS) gathered for a Brigada Eskwela Evaluation Meeting at the school's covered court on June 5, 2026, to assess the accomplishments and challenges encountered during the recently concluded school maintenance program.
The evaluation served as a venue for teachers to share observations and experiences regarding the implementation of Brigada Eskwela activities. Discussions centered on school facility improvements, classroom readiness, stakeholder participation, and the overall effectiveness of the program in preparing the school for the opening of classes.
Assistant School Principal for Governance, Roleen B. Moleño, Ed.D., facilitated the meeting and encouraged teachers to provide constructive feedback and recommendations to further strengthen future Brigada Eskwela initiatives.
The activity also highlighted the contributions of teachers, parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders whose efforts helped create a cleaner, safer, and more conducive learning environment for students.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from the teaching staff to uphold collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence in service. Through the evaluation, CNHS-SHS reaffirmed its dedication to fostering quality education and maintaining a supportive school environment for all learners.
