𝐊𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Antao Elementary School proudly congratulates Kirsten U. Carabeo for securing 7th Place in Editorial Writing – Filipino during the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held on February 16–20, 2026 in Nasipit, Agusan del Norte.

The competition gathered 36 campus journalists from across the region. The individual events followed a three-round elimination process. From 36 participants in Round 1, only 12 advanced to Round 2 or the Semi-Finals. Kirsten successfully earned a spot in the Top 12 and moved forward in the competition. After the final evaluation, she placed 7th overall.

Kirsten was coached by Ms. Clariza D. Gruyal, Teacher II and Grade 4 Class Adviser, whose guidance and mentorship played a vital role in her preparation for the competition.

This milestone brings pride and honor to Antao Elementary School and serves as an inspiration to all young writers to pursue excellence in journalism.

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗘𝗦

Antao Elementary School now has two new tents installed on the school grounds, thanks to the fundraising activity held by the BSP King and GSP Queen last November 2025.

The tents will be used for different school activities such as programs, meetings, and other special events. The project became possible because of the generous support of the school stakeholders and the efforts of the BSP Kings and GSP Queens, and the help of their parents.

School officials said they are very thankful to everyone who helped, and they believe the tents will be a big help to students and teachers for many years to come.

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗼 𝗘𝗦 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴 ₱𝟯𝟬𝗞 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗮𝘁 ₱𝟯𝟬𝗞 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗡𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

Matagumpay na naisakatuparan sa Antao Elementary School ang proyekto ng School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) na Genderized Comfort Rooms. Ang naturang pasilidad ay naipatayo mula sa pondo na ₱30,000 mula sa DepEd WiNS Program at ₱30,000 mula sa nalikom sa isinagawang SPTA Night at Induction Program na pinanguluhan ni Gng. Mesel U. Petallo, SPTA President.

Ang bagong gawang palikuran ay inilaan para sa mga bisita at magulang, gaya ng mga magulang na dumadalo sa mga programa sa paaralan o naghihintay sa kanilang mga anak na matapos ang klase. Malaking tulong ito sapagkat mayroong mga comfort room sa bawat silid-aralan para sa mga mag-aaral, habang ang pasilidad na ito ay nakatuon naman para sa mga magulang at panauhin.

Lubos ang pasasalamat ng pamunuan ng paaralan sa SPTA officers, mga magulang, at lahat ng sumuporta sa proyekto. Ang kooperasyon ng bawat isa ang nagsilbing susi upang maisakatuparan ang pasilidad na tiyak na pakikinabangan ng komunidad.
