On May 6, 2026, La Paz National High School officially kicked off the ARAL Summer Program 2026, marking the beginning of a meaningful summer intervention initiative designed to support students in strengthening their academic skills, improving learning competencies, and boosting confidence in preparation for the upcoming school year.
The program aims to provide learners with additional guidance through engaging lessons, remedial activities, and interactive learning experiences that promote academic growth and personal development. It also serves as an opportunity for students to maximize their summer break in a productive and enriching way.
Headed by the school principal, Ernie Mellejor, the successful opening of the program was made possible through the strong support, dedication, and commitment of the volunteer teachers of La Paz National High School. Their willingness to extend their time and effort reflects their passion for education and genuine concern for the welfare and success of every learner.
Parents and stakeholders also expressed their appreciation for the initiative, recognizing the importance of continuous learning and community cooperation in helping students achieve better academic performance.
As the ARAL Summer Program 2026 begins, the school community remains hopeful that this initiative will inspire students to become more motivated, disciplined, and prepared for future educational challenges.

Dinaluhan ang nasabing okasyon ng mga kagalang-galang na panauhin, kabilang ang Assistant Regional Director na si G. Rebonfamil R. Baguio, na kinatawanan ni G. Abelardo Jr. D. โOn March 30, 2026, La Paz National High School held its Baccalaureate Day with Rev. Fr. Joseph Villarin, together with the proud parents and guardians, the dedicated faculty and staff, and our Principal I, Mr. Ernie C. Mellejor.

โThis meaningful celebration was a day of thanksgiving, offering gratitude for all the blessings received throughout the school year. It honored especially the ALS (Alternative Learning System) learners, the graduating Grade 12 Senior High School students, and the Grade 10 completers, as they gave thanks to God for His guidance, strength, and every moment that shaped their journey.

La Paz National High School conducted its School Governance Council (SGC) Meeting on March 26, 2026, marking its first meeting for the year.
The meeting was presided over by the designated SGC Chairperson, Sir Jayson N. Carabeo, with the support of School Principal Sir Ernie C. Mellejor and SGC Secretary, Maโam Zerlyn Gonzalo. Also present was the elected SGC Chairperson, Hon. Razul Carwa.
In attendance were key stakeholders and partners, including Barangay Education Committee Chair Hon. Princess Ivy M. Funcion, SK Chairman Hon. Jilian Ace Olamit, GPTA Representative Elvera Autintico, Religious Representative Maโam Buen Selgas, SSLG President Savanah Heso, SHS Coordinator Mariver Semblante, and Faculty President Etchel Vergara.
The activity focused on significant matters concerning school improvement, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to further enhance the schoolโs programs and initiatives.

On March 26, 2026, La Paz National High School conducted its School Improvement Plan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustments (SIPMEA). The activity was spearheaded by the program owner, Sir Jayson N. Carabeo, with the strong support of the faculty and staff under the leadership of Sir Ernie C. Mellejor.
During the activity, all program owners presented their accomplishment reports, highlighting the status of implementation, as well as the challenges, issues encountered, and corresponding recommendations related to the School Improvement Plan.
The activity served as a meaningful platform not only for assessment and continuous improvement but also for recognizing the dedicated efforts of program owners who work diligently behind the scenes. Overall, the SIPMEA was successfully conducted and contributed significantly to strengthening the schoolโs programs and initiatives.

โOn March 17, 2026, La Paz National High School successfully held its Work Immersion Culmination Program. The activity was facilitated by Maโam Mariver B. Semblante, SHS Coordinator, together the Senior High School teachers headed by the school principal Sir Ernie C. Mellejor. The event was attended by parents, guardians, the Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Bernardo F. Boyles, and valued industry partners.

โSpecial guests included Lino S. But-ay Sr. from PUSEA, Joy Sayon (HR Associate) from Jovinas Suites, Rubliyn A. Pantonial from DA-BFAR-NMC, and Johnmark Pamongcales from ACES Tagum College, Inc. the schoolโs JDVP partner.

MAPEH Culmination 2026!
La Paz National High School successfully conducted its MAPEH Culmination last Friday, March 13, 2026, featuring a vibrant showcase of student talents throught dances.
The event officially opened with an inspiring message from our School Principal I, Sir Ernie Mellejor. The program was facilitated by our committed MAPEH teachers Maโam Renafaith Cuabo, Sir Reymart Cayetano, and Sir Mark O. Gutang, with the valuable support of the teaching staff and the enthusiastic participation of the students.
Students from different grade levels confidently presented their respective performances: Cheerdance by Grades 12, 11, and 10, Zumba by Grade 9, Ballroom Dance by Grade 8, and Festival Dance by Grade 7, filling the program with energy, rhythm, and creativity.
For the results of the competition,
Grade 12 emerged as the Champion for their Cheerdance performance. Grade 9 secured 2nd Place through their Zumba presentation, while Grade 8 and Grade 10 both received 3rd Place for their Ballroom Dance and Cheerdance performances.
The success of this event was made possible through the collective efforts of the school administration, MAPEH teachers, faculty members, and students who worked hand in hand in organizing and participating in the activity.
Above all, we give our heartfelt thanks to God for His guidance and blessings that made this celebration successful.
Let us continue to support and celebrate the talents of our learners, promote active participation in school activities, and strengthen the spirit of unity and excellence within the La Paz National High School community.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM), and the Bureau of Fire Protection โ Carmen jointly conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2026 at La Paz National High School on March 13, 2026. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and raise awareness among students, teachers, and school personnel on proper safety procedures during an earthquake.
