CONNECTING HEART TO HEART: Our School President Meets the Holycrossiansโœจ

A full day dedicated entirely to our students!

Demonstrating his deep commitment and enthusiasm for the student body, our School President, Rev. Fr. Wilson R. Chu spent the entire day, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM holding special meetings with our students across all grade levels. It was a tiring day, yet his energy and joy in being with the students from morning until afternoon were truly undeniable.

More than a formal meeting, it was an avenue for genuine connection. Our President made sure that every single student knows he is always within reach, not just as the leader of our institution, but as the loving Father of our school community.

During these sessions, he placed a special emphasis on our school's Vision and Mission statements. Our President expressed immense joy and pride upon seeing that the students have fully memorized these lines. It is his earnest prayer that everyone will not just keep these words in memory, but truly hold them in their hearts and consistently live out these statements every single day.

He also reminded everyone of the essential foundation every Holycrossian should possess: Faith, Wisdom, and Good Character, not only to have a good life but also to have a good heart and soul, challenging our students to always embody our core values:

๐‡๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐‹๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“ | Look, as the official opening of classes began on Tuesday, January 9, 2026, HCCCI welcomed students with a marching band and then held a morning assembly. The HCCCI Dance Ensemble also took part in it by performing a dance. In the afternoon, they held a laro ng lahi and volleyball with a twist for the students to enjoy their first day of classes. What great camaraderie and energy from the students!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

To maintain an environment fully dedicated to our learners' academic focus and success, we have released our official operational guidelines regarding the student mobile phone policy, in compliance with DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2026. We kindly but firmly request all parents and guardians to strictly refrain from calling or messaging your children outside of their designated break times. Keeping our instructional hours entirely distraction-free allows our teachers and students to maximize their time inside the classroom.

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

As we welcome everyone back for the first day of classes tomorrow (JUNE 9, 2026), we would like to lay a strong foundation for a focused, safe, and highly productive learning environment. In line with this, we are strictly enforcing the Department of Education's updated policy on digital devices under DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2026.

Starting tomorrow, STUDENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED from BRINGING SMARTPHONES and other mobile devices to school.

Please take note of these important guidelines:

๐Ÿ“ฑ Academic Use Exception: If a mobile phone is ever required for a specific classroom activity or academic purpose, students will be informed in advance by the subject teacher or adviser.

โŒ No Instruction, No Phone: Unless explicit, advanced instruction is given by a school official, no student shall bring a phone to classes.

๐Ÿ“ Emergency Contact Protocol: We understand the need for reliable communication lines. We request all parents and guardians to write your complete name and active contact number on one of your child's notebooks tonight. Class advisers will collect these numbers from the students tomorrow so the school can quickly reach you in case of any emergency or urgent concern.

We appreciate your full cooperation and support from day one as we work together to eliminate classroom distractions and help our students achieve their full potential this school year.
